- Hey guys in today’s video I decided to share with you this video of 10 of my bearded dragons vs 1000 crickets !! I decided to feed all of my bearded dragons and give you some tips on how to feed them. The care for bearded dragons can be tricky so i’m planning on making bearded dragon care videos to help anyone out there that may need some help keeping them.

Himur would've been boring in this. She isn't food motivated. Sometimes seems to go a day or longer without eating.

I lost my beardie Neko last July and it was the saddest damn thing ever.
One day randomly she was having issues breathing and I couldn't figure out why.
She kept gasping for air and there was nothing I could do. The vets in my area
don't have experience with beardies and they were giving me the worst advice on
the phone as far as what to do. For almost an hour straight she was in my arms
barely moving and was gasping for air. She died in my arms that day and it was
honestly incredibly heartbreaking. As someone who's been a dog lover my whole
life, you'd never expect something like a bearded dragon to get so close with you
but they are honestly like having little puppies that stay small their entire lives.
She would lay on my upper chest as I watched movies, tv, football on the weekends.
She would get excited whenever I got home from work. It broke my damn heart.
I was balling like a baby for HOURS after she passed away.
The first beardie you let into the terrarium looked almost identical to my Neko 😥

Aw, it was probably a respiratory infection :( you have to catch it early because its pretty deadly to them if not noticed

If there are a lot of crickets and they are hungry they can overpower the dragon and kill him

Guinea pigs are soooo docile. Dont be afraid of them. They wont hurt you. If youre still scared just keep your fingers away from its mouth. Snuggle with him/her a bit and youll fall in love super fast
They are way more calm then guinea pigs. Less scratches lol

I just found your channel and love it to bits! You clearly care so much about your beardies and they have such amazing personalities! Lol happy thanksgiving. Hey do you have any tips on keeping the crickets alive? I only buy 24 at a time because they will last 3 days at most. I put them in a feeder box with those cubes for water and an apple or something for them to eat. But still die on me. Going to the pet store every week sucks lol. I do keep superworms on hand and finally got some Beatles to start breeding. Thank you for that video on breeding them. 👍
i recommend trying a sterlite bin, it provides more space to avoid them becoming territorial
I’ve been keeping my crickets alive for the past three weeks now and I honestly can’t wait till I go through all of them!! I hate crickets lol I keep mine in a sterilite bin I got from Walmart, i add some egg cartons & I feed them bock Choy, collards etc, and change it out every two days, and I also give them cricket feeder (just in case) & some water cubes. They last forever!!! I honestly think mine even started breeding 😅 hope this helps 👍🏻

that as well as the fact that most reptiles will continue to eat even when they are no longer hungry.. Which can cause them to throw the food back up later. It has happened once with my geckos they kept eating mealworms and later on I found these clumps they threw up!

@@yesman8864 They can kill reptiles. If there's enough it can. I usually pour about 5-10 crickets in my leopard geckos tank every 1-2 days just to make sure she is safe. To many can lead to stress and even the leopard gecko being EATEN

Make sure to do your research if you want one! It's not good to get an animal if you watch just one video without doing any research and end up not giving them the right husbandry.
