😂 😂 😂 Story time :I did this with Cheeto! I was vibin to the music. I was dancing. I was rockin my head. I was jammin. But Cheeto took my head bobbing to be a challenge, and he took it!! He ran and jumped out of his enclosure, onto my face and tried to bite my nose. 🤣 It was hysterical. But I caught him before he could get me and I put him back in his house. 🤣 🤣 🤣 So since then, I don't nod my head when he's around me and music. (which is a lot) But yes, it definitely builds a bond.

Mine is still a baby and while I don't hand feed him (holding onto live squirming bugs just makes my muscles spazz out) I do gently handle him a lot, talk to him a lot, and he already associates my presence with feeding. Runs and paddles against the glass when he hears me or sees me, it's pretty damn cute. I also give him water by hand and he approaches me and drinks it right out of the small dish I offer him, even plays around in it sometimes while I'm holding it. I think I'll get tweezers and start attempting to feed directly. He's already such a chill little dude, no signs of aggression and doesn't seem afraid of me at all. One of the most laid back pets I've ever had, wish I had discovered these guys sooner.

My Murray was not too interested in being held for about 6 months. He loved his glass tank, watching all of us interact in the room with him, but he was just not into being held much. After about a year and a half, he was cool just chilling with me at sleep time, but during the day, he'd just climb around on top of my head and be a goof ball until I put him back in his tank. If I put him down, he'd make his way back to his tank. I guess I got his tank just the way he liked it, lol I stayed patient, and it paid off. My work computer is right next to Rose and Murray's tanks, and that's the most active room in the house. It works.

I looked on Morph Mart and bought a captive bred one. I made sure the multiple pictures of mine were with the bearded dragon being hand held and that she looked relaxed. This way I was pretty sure the breeder had taken the time to get my new baby used to humans. As a result, I have such a great little social beardie. It was your vids that convinced me to get one and I'm so glad I found your channel, because even after just a few months I can't imagine not having Jubilee for my little buddy. She is truly just joy.

My bearded dragons name is Charizard!!
He’s about a year and a half, he’s chunky so I’m tryna get him to loose weight but he’s my first reptile ever and he’s been great! When he was 2 months he’d jump off me and I’d freak out so when he’d start moving I’d freak and put him back in his terrarium, I eventually learned to follow his movement and what helped is when I’d get home from work around 9:30pm I’d quickly shower and he’d be awake from 10am-10pm so it would help I’d bring him out, lay him on my chest, shoulder while I watch a movie and he got used to me! Eventually he became so chill my mom who’s terrified of reptiles has held him and calls him “little bebe” my nieces hold him and he’s just so chill! Mine wasn’t hard to take and maybe they are all like that ?
    But they are great pets!

Hi thank you so much for this video! It has really helped me and was super informative! I got my 5 month old beardie yesterday. He is anxious (As you would be). Im going to try to hand feed him more, and just get him use to my voice and his name and i hope this helps settle his nerves and become more comfortable with me. My question is, Am I able to travel with him as long as he has some kind of heat? Like a hot water bottle or a heat pad? It would be for a few days/ week.

I have 2. One boy and one girl. They are hatch mates so they are the exact same age. About 6 months or so. And at first My girl grew faster, but now, Yoshi My boy is huuuuge. I thought maybe something was wrong with Her but nah, Yoshi just hit a nice growth spurt. Every dragon grows in different paces. So maybe yours will just hit a growth spurt and be huge before you know it. Also, my dragons love hanging out outside or sitting in the Windows and I think because its winter now even though their temps are perfect, they both are slightly less active and eat less. But vet checks are important and both of mine checked out so it must be a seasonal kinda thing!!! Good luck with your little dinosaur. Hope this helps..❤💖

Love this Video, we have had a super scared baby for 3 months now. He still hates us. At first we didn’t handle him at all, tried to give him space and chill. His enclosure was wrong and it took a while to figure that out and now he is in a sick tank being treaded for worms. Because of That we have to handle him daily, he relaxes once u hold him gut man is he angry when we have to pick him up.
My question is I would love to take him out of the tank and let home tun around but he is FAST and I fear we would lose him behind furniture and freak him out Even more when we have to catch him again. Right now I have no idea how he will ever get over his fear and used to us handling him 🤔

I’ve been taking my bearded dragon, Iggy, out more often and also chill by his tank, I also recently replaced Iggys carpeted floor with some newer substrate and other kinds of dirts I got from petco, we were skeptical about it, but a lizard expert started helping us, and now we have a better tank for him along with new little basking areas and climbing areas!

You m following you on all steps besides one. I am scared to handle my dragon. It’s very jumpy and so I’m taking the passive approach over the aggressive approach and not try to handle them. Is this something I should change? Should I be more assertive and go in for the gentle grab/handle, or should I continue hand feeding (and than extending my open hand out to wait for it to climb on)?

I have a young bearded dragon in a 40 gallon cage. We have one of our cats who is too interested in him. So, we have him safely in another room. What can I do to bond? Any way to have his cage with us in the living room? I am open to custom stands that discourage my cat from jumping on top. He can see us and I can talk to him. in the same room? Right now he sits on my chest during feeding time and I take him out other times. He gets squirmy right away so I put him back. I am thinking of re-homing him to a home where he can have a better bond. I could turn the safe room into an office where I spend time throughout the day and close it to cats at night. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I love him so much.

I have cats that terrorized my dragon for the first like month. They still jump up on top of her cage. At this point she really could care less about the fur ball always above her.

I'm currently stuck at this crappy point with my beardie, I got him from petco(yes I know that was a mistake) and he got very sick a couple days after bringing him home, so I brought him to the vet and had to give him a bunch of injections and oral medication as a baby and now he's doing great health wise and has grown a lot but he HATES being picked up bc I had to force him to do as a baby and I feel awful and like we'll never have a connection bc it was ruined from the start. He doesn't mind me being around him but the second I go to pick him up he runs away and it kills me bc I thought I did everything right but he still hates me

I've done just a bout all these things! My Chyna still looks at me crazy! Refuses to bathe and when feeding her with tongs she closes her eyes or turns away ?

hey, so my baby bearded dragon tail is kind of falling off... so when me and my mom woke up we checked on my bearded dragon zodiac his tail was fine he was fine sitting and basking, so we come home and part of his tail is coming off what but the whole part has not its kind of hanging off he does not look like he is any type of pain. Here is what me and my mom have came up with. He decided to bite his tail for no real reason. or his log was too close up to the glass and got stuck I cant think of anything else to come up with.

GUYS, I NEED SOME ADVICE! I’m new to owning a bearded dragon, whenever I go to pick him up or feed him, whenever he moves a little, I jump because I think he’s gonna bite me! Is there any way to get me not so nervous, I think the whole reason is is because I haven’t been bitten by it before and I think I’m scared to get bitten because it might hurt! I have a baby like this one in the video but I’m a little jumpy! Also, when they bite, do they lack down and not let go? I’m only 14!
