The last good one I used is Matsushita. It showed 0.027% W&F at my CT-91. Unfortunately these are not on sale anymore but I still have few on hand.

This is more of an equivalent to the CT959 model, but the CT959 model is more elegantly finished inside and out, especially the cassette compartment. Regards, another interesting episode.

Yes, it´s the CT-959 not a CT-93 ,the CT-959 was released a year earlier and even earlier the CT-939MKII (it´s Urushi version is the CT-91)which both are perfect i even prefer the CT-959 to the CT-979 because of the manual calibration against the automatic calibration of the CT-979 with only option of manually increase the high´s for those who prefer a more high´s recording

that isn´t a CT-93(it is lacquered)that as a almost equal version of it the CT-979(the CT-93 is a litle better in specifications ,more related with the level keeping the sound perfect louder)but in the video we see the CT-959 ,the wooden panels were sold only with the Urushi versions and no Nakamichi comes near this in sound quality and everything else as i own all of the top models from nakamichi in cassette decks since 74 till the DR-1 restored all recentelly it belonged to my father who passed away recentelly and all that was his become mine, this was maybe the best deck ever made a flat recorder with a high quality recording having as standart tape the TDK ma-xg also for this the CT-959 (no need for calibration),the reference in japanese is T-1000 for the CT-95, this because has i was told the Pioneer decks were the only to take adavantage from the amourphous heads, i have a Denon ,the DRM-800A with amourphous heads but it as the problem of not having calibration but also records and plays with great sound, before i think the best ever built deck is the B215 from Revox or the Z-7000 from Teac ,also have to refer the Phase linear 7000 that is a perfect built deck and pioneer released it built with cheaper material known by CT-A1

      Concordo,il phase linear 7000 e' un gran registratore,suona bene,mi piace molto!

@@giuseppelavecchia775 it seems strange to never be refered as it was perfect in sound but also in building quality ,it´s one of my favorite decks, there is the CT-A1 pioneer released being the same but built with cheaper materials, also a very good deck if still working, phase linear was bought by Pioneer and i have a complete series two phase linear system with some huge studer speakers(all bought by my father ) , the power amplifiers says in the back built by Carver

@@RUfromthe40s conosco il pioneer CT-A1,mi piace ma preferisco il phase linear 7000.concordo sulla qualita migliore del 7000.il phase linear lo ascoltato di persona e lo adoro!

@@giuseppelavecchia775 i agree with you but that´s what i tried to express in my coment and yes the phase linear seems to not be refered when talking about the best decks ever , i only ment saying that the CT-A1 is a cheaper version of the 7000 from phase linear and the pioneer isn´t bad but similar as pioneer owned phase linear. I have a very good complete series two system from phse linear also have the parametric equalizer but from the 70´s amplifiers sound i never felt the need for a equializer only later with cds and the huge diference from any brand catalog from 79 to 80 there is a huge diference in components sound mainly the amplifiers, as i have a 70´s sansui amplification system and in mid 80´s maybe i bought a more cheap amplifier that it was for my bedroom ,even with a good set of speakers it had a strange and cheap sound and maybe one of the few brands it still had the front in aluminium but soundwise doesn´t even seem from sansui, i´m rering to the A-7, it even as volume loudness but anemic one, also looks good for the time being
