This is the issue with Nigerian politics. When Wike appoints another leader to oversee some aspects of the administration, it is totally uncalled for that the people of the same tribe with the appointed leader to organise a special meeting to appreciate Wike for choosing their "own son". This is a pure show of shame. The leader appointed by Wike is suppose to serve the interest of all Rivers citizens not just his own people. So you're thanking him because somewhere in your mind the person will only serve his own people. These things don't represent us well as a people. You don't see things like this is the western world. Every leader is elected or appointed to work and he doesn't need to hold a special meeting to thank you for choosing him. Only thieves behave like that because they believe it is time to steal and not work.
