so I could do all the courses in Audit mode without the quizzes. Then do a 7-days trial and get all the quizzes done and get the certification. Would that work?

I've just finished the course from Coursera from Yale University of Personal Development or professional development in 2 days, no joke, and I'd completed with a grade 94%!

Coursera still charged me after I completed a certificate program before the 7-day trial was over... so much for free...

It seems none of these options are available anymore? Even though the thumbnail still says the course is free /:
I tried this with three courses. I click on a course that says "free" and am getting no options to even preview a single video or do a 7 day trial. I'm only prompted to buy for $49. No option to click on the individual sections within the course like in this video either.

Hi! Just spot checked a random course and was able to see the free trial and the audit option still. What course are you running into this issue with?

Thank you for the great info. Regarding price and types of courses and certificates, which one would you prefer more Coursera or Edx? Thanks.

Hi Husnu, thanks for the comment! Typically Coursera, but they each have different partnerships with different universities and organizations, so it'll depend on what you want to learn.

For the audit option it also says upgrade later my question is if u do upgrade after completing the course is it that u pay for some additional lock content and then get the certificate?

The Google cert is 8 courses, not 4.

I found the MBA program from the university of Illinois and was considering it I am fast tracking 2 bachelor degrees online at WGU first but in about 3 years I would like to get into the program do you have any advice maybe something you wish you would of known before getting your MBA

I would get some work experience before going into an MBA. Makes your application more complete and the experience will be better.

    So quick question
I received Aid and with that i got the 1st module of the same course unlocked and now the remaining 6 modules say”when you are ready you can enroll”
Now i am not sure do i need to put the application for the remaining 6 modules or do i need to simply enroll
I hope enrolling in the remaining module isn’t like an audit

I actually had this tab up for hours. The #GoogleDataAnalyticsProfessionalCertificate is now at 886,637 enrollees.😁 A BIG difference from the 177,649 exactly 13 months ago. But you said it was 4 courses. It is not! As you can see in the description at 4:16; there are 8 courses. You have to also click "SHOW MORE" towards the bottom.
Note: notice the financial aid option near the audit. That is something to definitely consider. It usually takes around 2 weeks for a response. If accepted, the particular professional cert./specialization/course, etc. is 🈚. Yes,🆓❕

    • @RichardWalls

You do not. A certificate requires the paid option.
