- This is by far one of my favorite Vocaloid songs but i noticed that you can't find an english translation unless you watch it on google, so i went ahead and made my own. If this belongs to you and you want it taken down I will certainly follow your wishes, but sincerely just trying to spread the love of Vocaloid for other fans to enjoy.

In flower language, Erica means Loneliness.
So when she says that the flowers withered, it means that their loneliness disappeared since they are together now.
Or she is the flower hence showing she was 'lonely', therefore the phrase 'the flowers have withered' suggesting she is dying from pain

Such a sad and depressing song, it makes my heart hurt to listen to this. Poor Miku, I want to hug her, It's so heartbreaking to see her in such a lifeless and sorrowful state.

So I was interested and looked up the erica flower and found an interesting story about a girl named Malvina, who cried over the death of her lover in a field of Erica flowers. The ones her tears touched turned them from purple to white. I'll paste the story, listen to the song again and notice how close they resemble. I wonder if this song is based on Malvina? Just my interpretation on it.
"The most well known legend of white heather is that in the 3rd century A.D., a young maiden named Malvina, daughter of the poet Ossian was to be married to her true love Oscar. Oscar, a warrior, never came home. Killed in battle, a messenger was sent to to deliver the horrible news. The messenger delivered the horrible news with a spray of burgundy heather. Malvina was inconsolable upon hearing the news of her true love’s death. Wondering among moors and mossy hills, she shed futile tears. Legend says that as her tears fell upon the heather it turned the purple flowers into white ones. Instead of drowning in bitterness, Malvina decided right then and there that anyone who came across a white heather would be blessed with good fortune for all of their days."

The girl there is stuck in darkness she can't even lift a finger she will never go in light again nobody understands her
From what I know (Ok it was Aki) this girl has been heartbroken by her lover. I don’t know if the lover was very close to her, and either broke off the relationship, or passed away, but whatever happened, Miku is left in total despair. She is so upset that she feels she can hardly lift finger, she says that the sun hasn’t come out, and that it feels it never will again. This really shows how the ending of her relationship really damaged her emotionally, mentally, and even physically. I believe the only thing she has left of her lover are flowers called Erica, or heath. Heath are usually seen as drooping flowers, and express solitude in Japan.

This actually has a very similar feel to another okamep song, fittingly called “Erica.” It’s not the same, but the way the music itself progresses sounds very similar with a short slow section followed by a more powerful section afterwards near the end
Yeah, I believe Erica is either the sequel or prequel to this song. I recommend listening to Erica by Princessemagic. Idk. The way she sings it is so passionate. Her voice is really nice.

This is one of the most saddest vocaloid songs I have ever herd. I can't believe how sad and depressing this song is...
Analyzing the lyrics to this song really makes me think about how lyrical meanings add so much more color to music, as if there wasn’t so many of them already, all of which either complimenting each other perfectly, or blending together in the best way possible. Hell, maybe even both. The best part? Lyrics usually have a general set idea to them made by the writer, but in my opinion, they can and dare i say, should be bent to have a different meaning depending on what the listener sees, relates to and desires from it. Beautiful.
