I had to build up the place where the slide kicks out. The carriage was aligned correctly but the indexer was still not kicking out correctly.
Also oiled the index bar. Works smooth now.

If u haven't figured it out yet, there is a 7/16 bolt on the bottom side of the ram. Loosen the bolt and you will be able to turn the the shell plate carrier so you can adjust the indexing rod. But as I see in your video, you don't have the case feeder set up, so adjusting the shell plate carrier will not effect the case feeder adjustment. Good luck

Hadn't used mine in years and it was doing the same thing not indexing properly. I fiddled with everything trying to get it to work with no success. Then I saw a guy on you tube that explained the problem and possible remedy. The fix ended up being to loosen the bolt on the very bottom of the press, It holds the whole assembly on. Pull the whole assembly towards the front of the press then hold it there while you tighten the bolt down tightly. That solved the problem and it indexes fine now. It's also good to put a little grease on the indexing pin and the edges of the underside of the shell plate that the pin rides on as it turns.

I have a new Loadmaster and have been here trying to solve exactly this problem. I have the same shell carrier that you have, without the four small posts on the bottom. I will make a video of some additional info I found that indicates when this problem will happen and put a link to it here. Hopefully we can figure this out together.

I have the same exact problem also. I’ve been trying to align the carrier by loosing the nut on the bottom but it still isn’t indexing and is getting stuck. I bought brand new shell plates and indexing rod and can’t get it working.

I don't see how the shell plate could move back any big distance with the back stopper and hold down screw thingies in place. Move Back a little bit yes, but not a lot. Holding it from going back by hand seems to be not feasible. Luckily I do not have that problem.
My problem is that the shell plate seems to NOT stop so as to CENTER the shell holding slot with the shell slider after being moved by the indexing rod. This causes the case to be a tad bit to the left or right of the shell slider mouth(not centered), causing it to be ever so slightly snagged by the side of the slider mouth and bulled back enough to have the case hit the frame on the up motion and crush the case.
I am still trying to fix this problem.

Same problem. Interestingly my OLD shell plates with just the little round plugs work smooth as silk. Wondering if the edge of the machined wings under the shell plate keeps the indexing rod from having a little space to move... causing it to jam. My next move will be to machine a bit off the wing... or ultimately machine it down to a round plug.... so frustrating!!

I have the old style she'll plates with the 4 pins underneath also. I bought a new she'll plate that was the new style you mentioned. At first when my press would not index right I thought it might be the new style she'll plate so I tried the old 4 pin one and it didn't work either. I put the new one back on and did the adjustment like I explained in my other post and it's all working great now. No need to machine anything...the new ones work fine as they are.

I bought 2 shells plates and have adjusted the 7/16th a million of times and still nothing. I’m not sure how to go about this.

Your carrier isn't aligned correctly, use a level and make sure the bench your working on is level too. I fought with my press for months. I rearranged my work area and nearly all the snags were gone
