I'm 58 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it. We can get by, but cant seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 40years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for...

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life.....

Well done! Dealers in my area are charging an ADM of at least $2,500-$5,000 over MSRP. Your AT4 was built with the Best options in my opinion..3500, Black, AT4, Duramax, Power boards, 5th wheel etc. Trying to find one like your's would be almost impossible unless you ordered it. Appreciate you sharing the price/cost breakdown! Look forward to all your videos!

I recently bought a 2023 Silverado 3500 HD High Country with every option except power running boards and multi function tailgate (Not an order). Sticker was $86k, however I was able to use the GMS price discount and saved about $7k. The fact the dealer allowed me to use the "A plan" was huge. There are very few dealerships giving discounts like this and fewer HD trucks available without order.

You won't know if you paid too much till you go trade it in or use it to earn income and discover how well it holds up (operating cost).
My guess is it handles use and serves you very well, especially considering you take excellent care of your vehicles.

Great video. Appreciate your willingness to share. Had to beg for $500 “nice guy” discount when I bought my 2021 Ram 3500 Longhorn MegaCab. Because like you I have never paid sticker price in my life: not even close. The dealer did it so I felt like I got a deal as most others were charging $6,000 to $10,000 over sticker at that time. Great truck JB. Congrats again. I understand why you did what you did and I will understand when you buy your next one which will probably be a Ford. Amazed the dealer let you pay that much on credit cards which I can see how it would help with points. Almost all the dealers I've ever dealt with will only let you use a max of 5000 on a credit card. Buying at msrp is about the best you can hope for nowadays although I bought a new 4runner last year and managed to get 2k off the msrp, felt awesome about that. One thing I have going for me is that I have jumpseat travel benefits at my airline so I can go anywhere I need to in order to secure the best price hence why I bought the 4runner in Atlanta. You got a nice truck wish you the best of luck with it. Keep us up to date on how it holds up.

Remember to claim that sales tax when you file your 2022 taxes. Also, my accountant recommended that we NOT purchase the truck in the business' name, as even with our LLC, it could be vulnerable to a (unlikely) lawsuit. So we bought and registered it in our personal name, THEN leased the truck (it's a RAM DRW) to our business. That way you can still claim some vehicle expenses for your business. I would verify with your accountant, based on MD law, if that would work for you. #MapYourJourney

In this day and age to get a dealership to sell for MSRP is a miracle in its self buddy. You got some great options on your truck and I think you lost some payload but I don't think you lost a lot of payload even though your Ram had some pretty good payload.

It's hard to believe a good deal on a truck is 87K these days. I get it that you bought an amazing truck, but c'mon man (a little Bidenism there). 87K. Wow..... We got our 2022 Chevy 2500HD Custom model gasser for 54K and I was like holy crap. We financed 34K with their 2.99 for 60 months and the payments are still 617 a month. I don't know. I'm a lot older than you. Us old guys heads are still probably spinning at how expensive things have gotten over the years. My first house that I bought in 1989 was amazing, and cost 85K here in GA. I love your truck for sure. Could I afford it, yes. But can I stomach paying that much for it, no.....I guess I'm just old....lol...Anyhow great video as always. I never paid a finance charge or interest rate since my first house 25 years ago. Paid that house off in 8 years and after that, paid with credit cards and paid those off every month. Bought our lat 4 trucks and 3 suv's with credits cards and cash. Paid off the cards before the 30 day finance charge and got 3% back on each 10k dollar card. Each time! So win win, and I always tell the salesman I will finance but never sign my name, then when we come to a price we can agree on, I only sign a sales sheet for the OTD price. When I go I to the finance office, I drop 30k with credit then cash, works everytime. Just dont sign the finance sheet, only sign a sales pricing sheet. Screw em.

See, banks loan out money then charge you interest. Where do banks get the money? From consumers, you give the bank money to keep it for you, the banks use everyone's money and hand out loans then charge interest.
