  • The case Adam's Apple Markets v. Aphrodite Cosmetics was argued on November 14, 2006, at the Ames Moot Court Competition. The presiding judges were Hon. Anthony Kennedy '61, Associate Justice, U.S. Supreme Court; Hon. Diana Gribbon Motz, U.S. Court of Appeals for The Fourth Circuit; Hon. Merrick B. Garland '74, U.S. Court of Appeals District for The Columbia Circuit.
The Ames Competition, held in the historic Ames Courtroom of Harvard Law School, is one of the most prestigious competitions for appellate brief writing and advocacy in the country. The students participating in the Final Round started the competition in fall of their 2L year. Two teams progressed to the Final Round through their strong research abilities and excellent written and oral advocacy.

@@sbtopjosh4098 lol, well you're entitled to your opinion. It's just funny how confident you are when you probably haven't even attended law school, neverminded graduated at the top of HLS or delivered an oral argument in front of supreme court justices. She had a difficult case to argue and held her own. Easy to criticize from the sidelines.
