I like to think that the title is an extremely short flash fiction story written by the Prince which we are supposed to piece together with what little information we have. I think it's about a persoon who dies and comes back as a ghost, doing the usual ghost stuff, watching his grandsons grow and whatnot. But he lives for eons, eventually forgetting everything about the people he loved, who he was even. The human race ceases to exist and the Sun ends up engulfing the Earth, but he is outside of physical space, so he just lies there. The only thing left is to drift through empty space while the universe moves around, and this music is what he hears in his mind until the end of time.
No this is a reference to Hamlet. Hamlet is the Prince of Denmark in the Play. It begins with him being visited by the ghost of his Father, who tells him he has murdered by the current king. The ghost never appears again in the play, so perhaps this is what the title is stating.
