BBK is big black kock= Jack daniels and coke... Which was Jon's preferred drink during Follow The Leader. Buy and Watch "Who then now" both 1 and 2... Been a fan since '96. This post is for the newer KoRn fans, you guys are still awesome too :). KoRn is to be shared across generations! xD I will rock BBK out in my nursing home when i'm 70!
Gotta love how you guys don't see the unique playing Head does. His weird harmonics, use of whammy pedal and reverse chords. And of course their insanely heavy tone.

Les Claypool from Primus likes the bass playing on this track. When Korn played with Primus this song got Les's attention and he came up to the stage to watch them.
This album is an amazing one. Lots of people on here don't like this one. Issues was pretty good too. The first four albums are just mind blowing. Jon is full of anger and the band really brings out that dark sound in this album and previous. Hope the new album gets back to basic sound
Has anyone noticed that if any of the band member's left it would be without that same great sound? I mean Jon's Scatting makes the vocals special, you can actually hear Fieldy's bass, and Munky and Head's guitar sound combined is just legendary.
I miss this ish.. I was 12 going on 13 when i first heard this back in like 98'. LOL so much energy as a kid back then! The music industry was fantastic in all genre's throughout the 90's. This album and band influenced me to play percussions in junior high when I switched from brass instruments to percussions
No it's B.B.K. No I meant to say B.B.K. Dammit, why can't I say anything but B.B.K.?!? But tbh, my fav from the album has to be dead bodies everywhere cause of the sick riff and screams from 3/4ths through the song
I remember bumping this back in '02 or '03 11 or 12 years old korn still speaks volumes to me and even though i havent really checked their new shit i still love korn, one of the greatest bands ever conceived
2019 and I still can remember jamming this album NON-STOP when it dropped back in the day!! BBK is easily the most underrated song on Follow The Leader!! I can't get enough of this song!! Korn for life! Peace!!
Yo as much shit as nu metal gets in the metal community, and as cringey as the general image of pretty much every nu metal band is, it was a super experimental genre and, especially korn, brought metal to all new horizons. To think that this evolved from the groove metal bands like pantera and sepultura only 5 years beforehand which then in turn eveolved from death and trash/speed metal of the 80s...damn i fucking love music man
Korn used to be my favorite band back in highschool (1999 and on) but i haven't listened to them since. Tastes changed and I listened to Radiohead and branched out. I searched youtube for Korn expecting some of their new stuff on here and got this. I definitely remember listening to this song from their album. Anyways it's not bad.
man ther is nothing better than a great korn beat. an amazing bj might tie it but for how rare those are to come by not better cause korn can be played over & over all day
Jesse Siemens He had a kid, Head is the one that turned into a prick and attacked Korn after all the DVDs of him doing the same shit they were all doing
they all have kids dude, head made amends you obviously never saw the video of david talking mad shit on the whole band i bet he was just as bad into drugs n shit as they were, they a fucking band they spend a lot of time together of course they're gonna collide
@@jacobreising2137 I'm not so sure that it goes only in one direction. From what I have read they were rehearsing in the same building for while so there could have been some mutual inspiration. Hed (PE)'s first EP "Church of Realities" was released in 1995 and it already had this groovy sound with a lot of hip hop vibes to it. 1995 is pretty early. It is certainly earlier than Korn's more hip hop influenced Follow The Leader.
@@borkug1566 all of Korn's albums are hip hop influenced. They covered Ice cube's track wicked on life is peachy. Just look up the song meanings. It was about Jack and Coke or something like that. I haven't been into Korn for years, so I don't really remember that well.
fuck as i am hearing this i am just reminiscing thoughts of my childhood in my head with my friends. haha i still remember all the lyrics, fucking growing up and working!
I love this song as well, they are the best but damn the children of the Korn song was way to intense for me to listen. But I never saw the movie and my mom won’t let me watch it. Oh well.. Go Korn!!!

new Korn fans be like "who the hell is David?". lol jk jk... kinda lol.
+Darkwing im a fairly new korn and even i know who david is. whether youre into korn or not you should know who he is. he's a phenomenal drummer!
+IKSoSE:3 agreed. and super proud of you, most new fans should be like you.
Just a side note, Jack and Coke sucks lol
B Silkwood
For some odd reason I thought it meant big black korn or someother shit with Korn in 😂
fieldys slap bass and jonathans scat this is one of my favorite songs by them
there would be no KoRn without Fieldy
True, the reason why Korn is so unique is because of Fieldy's slap bass and Jonathan's scatting
...uh seven string guitars, duh
Gotta love how you guys don't see the unique playing Head does. His weird harmonics, use of whammy pedal and reverse chords. And of course their insanely heavy tone.
@@peggyemery2379 lol wtf
2:40-3:14...The Scatting is fucking sick.
+Nick Paternostro its fucking fantastic. It's pitch shifted up and down but sounds great.
@emptyglass7867 lol its definitely got a pitch shifter effect on this song but yes Johns scatting is naturally great.
3:05 flow
This song is still one of favorite Korn songs.
The bass and drums are freaking ridiculous.
Guitar tone is perfect also.
Love it!👍
And it has his scatting
This album rocks my car's subs. Been blasting this since 1999 and it still holds up all the same today
[Verse 1]
So you see I've gotten this far

That beat drop at 2:23 is heavy as fuck.
Love everyone listening to this. We're a cult.
The riff, guitar tones and various fx on this pretty much sum up why I love Nu-Metal

Any Korn fan who says they don't like this album are stupid, uninformed, or just living in the nostalgic past!
@LeadMe2TheBliss I like songs off every Korn album. Keep in mind my previous comment was made 14 years ago.
@@The90sGamingGuy That's irrelevant as your comment still stands nowadays. Korn rules, and so do you.
This and Issues are the best!
@@potluck5896 The Nothing is in their top three too IDGAF what anyone says!!
The riff that starts at 2:24 sounds like "nick nack paddy wack, give a dog a bone" riff from Shoots and ladders.
Naw, that riff from Shoots and Ladders souded like a Subaru WRX exhaust
Has anyone noticed that if any of the band member's left it would be without that same great sound? I mean Jon's Scatting makes the vocals special, you can actually hear Fieldy's bass, and Munky and Head's guitar sound combined is just legendary.
The irony that you left out David the drummer.. who left.. and korn has NEVER sounded the same since.
Absolutely the sickest song on this record!! That slapping bass is awesome. Korn is the shit always has been always will be!!
Fieldy, god of bass
Ele e o Shavo, melhores bassistas EVER!
(que eu conheço XD)
Les Claypool is
Shavo is skilled but not goddamn unique and creative. I prefer Fieldy
that goes to the guy of mudvayne sry
did we forget Paul Grey?

korn is the most inovative and original-authentic metal band of all times!!
I found them when I was 13 years old. I'm now 42 and they are still my go-to "mood music"
2:23 FUCKING LOVE THIS BREAKDOWN
I always fucking loved that brief scat/gibberish sound Jon makes at 0:48
2:40 best gibberish breakdown!
Its either this one or the one in seed

I heard this was the drummer's favorite song.
idk about that but sadly he turned into a prick and abandon the band.

my all time hero is Ron Jeremy. got alot of respect for that guy
Over the years of listening to Korn excluding what was going on in the rest of the world I have come to the conclusion that he indeed says that. =)
Interesting trivia, thanks for mentioning it!
Everytime i reach for love its takin away!!!!!!!
untouchables was like the less angsty more frustrated version of issues it was good, and beat it upright is pretty badass
the best album of nu metal......follow the leader
This album and Issues were the best ...
My favorite tracklist of korn ( top 4)
1 pretty
2 innocent bystander
3 good god
4 word up
@Korndude4561 ..."Big Black Kock" is what I heard too... named after some drink they stumbled across in a bar while on tour in Europe, I think.
That weird beat-boxing man, never to be duplicated!

"Everytime I reach for love, it's taken away"

Stop reaching.

I prefer K over M.

i need old korn..
Funny, I listened to it heaps as a teenager but it never came across be that it stood for Big Black Kock.
Weed and Korn.. Match made in Heaven.
