My father Peter James Danker of Kluang @ Johore Football Association Secretary and who was part of the formation of FAM which was with the late Tengku Abdul Rahman had coached Mokhtar Dahari........memories .....I had met Mokhtar Dahari on many occasions as a growing teen as football was so part of our family life. ......Daddy knew you were a winner all the way......Thank you for the happiness joy and pride you gave our nation....R.I.P. Mokhtar ...you will always be a legend......
In a space of a few years in the 80's and 90's, Mokhtar Dahari was the highest goal scorer in the world.
you sir, have a very loving, supportive, beautiful wife. Allah has blessed you with unique talent and a loving family. not many people get that. I didn't get the chance to experience the golden era where you spearhead our attack. But my father told me that it's literally impossible to have someone with such talent like yours in a million years in our country. Thanks for gracing our football scene with your love, grit and passion about the game. May your soul be blessed by Allah, In Shaa Allah. You'll always be the legend in the eyes of 20+ million Malaysians.
People like mokhtar, sudirman and P ramli cannot be replaced, may their souls rest in peace in heaven

Mokhtar Dahari is a legend. Sadly he passed away so young due to cancer. he will always in our heart. I am a Singaporean, watching him playing in the malaysia cup for Selangor even Malaysia national team Vs Singapore in the national stadium during 77, 78,79. What a thrill to watch those day.
Don't forget Fandi Ahmad is also a legend . Lions all time top scorer .

Selepas kematian arwah mokhtar aku dapat rasakan zaman gelap bola sepak malaysia sudah tiba mokhtar sendiri ada berkata bola sepak malaysia sudah tidak bersih lagi.......al fatihah untuk arwah mokhtar aku menangis menonton kisah nya thank you national geographic
