But I have to admit, as quick as I was to want to dismiss it (not nuts for many octave pedals), this one actually does sound like it has some serious gut and articulate dimension to it that stands out from a heap of others. And honestly, the latching/momentary + effects loop-fed options do make it pretty zingy.
What a masterful demonstration Mr. Honore! You're technique has always been impressive however this was a simple yet elegant method of demonstrating how many different sonic possibilities are available within the context of a basic pedal board setup.
We're in the same boat, John. I'm generally immune to impulse buying, but I fell prey to Peter's (and Pete Thorn's) ruthless predatory tactics (i.e., Showing youthful enthusiasm and being awesome!). I justified the limited edition add-on by telling myself, "It's an investment!" The truth is I just think this pedal and the whole aesthetic behind it is very, very cool.
John bee I’ve visited Detroit twice now, I love the place and the UP is fantastic. I brought the recipe for the Michigan Cocktail back to New Zealand too : A pickle in your beer. I’ll be back rockin’ the D as soon as the China Virus is under proper control. Eastern Markets on a sunny afternoon, stay cool Detroit !
Don't feel bad.... fellow Detroiter here and I ordered it as well....albeit much after this video was made. Always been a Jack White fan and this should be the final part of my puzzle to nail the tone. It should be here in a couple days. A year later are you still using it????
Quite possibly the best pedal demo I have ever watched. A combination of the gear and the presenter. And a fellow Dane - what’s not to love? What an insanely brilliant pedal!
Being one of those all around musicians that started in piano... then something keyboards and guitars, etc... I can set how fun and how useful this can be for a multitude of sounds! Thanks Pete and... you RAWK! 😎🎸🎹🤘🐦
Thanks Pete - awesome demo. So great, I had to order one. Actually . . . I ordered TWO!!!! (One for my son's birthday.) This is a wicked piece of kit, and I agree it's right up there with the Automatone for coolness, uniqueness, and usefulness.
I worked with the guy who started Coppersound when he started building pedals for fun. Alex is a wealth of knowledge about the intricacies of pedals, but he really didn't have much bias so you'd just get super honest answers based on facts. We all know a mix of personal taste, hype, and influences can easily sway a guitarist's suggestion for gear, I'm definitely guilty of that😅 Pretty soon he made me a couple custom builds that I still have, and he always added a little extra feature to surprise me. It's awesome to see him basically turning a dream into a reality, and to ice the proverbial cake that's a badass fucking pedal as well as a huge step forward for their company. Even without the telegraph stuff it's a really unique idea. They're all great guys, I'm proud of them, can't wait to see what's next.

What you called latch is actually called momentary switching. The setting where you press the switch and it stays on until you press it again is what latch mode is.
Just bought one right now on ebay. Lucked out and found one for 419$ and not have to wait 5 months of back orders. Picked up the 3rd man plasma coil 3 days ago also. Can not wait to hook this up to my rig. This pedal has endless....... possibilities and the price is just going to go up. The cheapest one on ebay right now is 500$ plus 20$ shipping.

Sorry. Just thought it wasn’t used in military and other applications anymore. I am sure it’s still used in other places. I used it at the escape rooms in Bristol recently and if I hadn’t known it I would still be stuck in that room :)
I might never buy this but it gives me new ideas for using my switcher. Ideas- never ending well of inspiration. Still makes me want a POG2. Pricey gear.

Pete can you help with a video on how to sound like Prince either on your personal channel or on Anderson's? I know he's a big inspiration of yours, as he is of mine. I'm craving the tone of his LRC Montreux live performance on yt. Please help!!
Wow what are usable and cool pedal. The options are many. The only thing is, was it necessary to do the whole Telegraph thing or could they have done the same thing with regular foot switches? I mean we all know the telegraph thing is super cool but probably adds a lot of price to the equation. That same pedal with regular foot switches but with the same functionality would be a home run for normal guitar players like me. Great demo Pete
Damn thats cool pedal, i just saw it on instagram and think wtf is that pedal...i tought it was a another overdrive again meeeh....after see this vid im bulding up my GAS
I'm not sure why Pete didn't just use the Octave Up Button on the left for an Octavia effect. The Second button sounds like some kind of Space Circus Nonsense. Chick Corea would have loved it. Octave down sounded good.
What a Bitchin' pedal! Super kewl use of 1800's technology on top of a 21st century FX pedal. Wow. Brilliant Mr. White, just Brilliant! You too DP. I Need one So badly! Sadly I'm disabled (509/month) and couldn't afford one if I wanted one, and boy do I want one.
Looks cool, and has some cool functionality, not sure if you can easily adjust the amount of Octave coming through? Octave is pretty pronounced? Cool to be able to switch in different effects through a loop, which I guess is the point? I’m sure Mars Volta has worked this out. Simpler, low fi solution to a loop station controller.
Of course it’s cool....after or before fuzz? I know I should know before I ask. Good to see you on your own turf. Brother, can you spare some time? Does it run in stereo....or would that matter?
Out of the three options which would you say is the hardest button to button?
I'll see myself out...

I love how this is confirming every other musicians' stereotype that guitarists love taking up way too much sonic space
We do.
Jimi Said so
Guilty. I hoard all the sonic space I can acquire.
We do.
I am very generous with sonic space... ... ... ... ... until I'm not.
I loved it even before I heard it. A genuine work of art, in its own right. Also, as always, great playing.
This is the most comprehensive video on this pedal! Thanks for making this.
Dude what a KILLER demo! Love the creative ways you went about showing us what it can do! I'm thoroughly impressed! Brilliant playing brother.
That pedal was made for fuzz! It sounded so good! The synthesizer sounded super cool too!
The sheer delight this man always takes in playing guitar is a balm to my soul, dangit.
One of the cleanest sounding octave pedals I've heard in a while! Sounds great with fuzz.
Brilliant demo Pete, think you'd have made Jack proud with some of those riffs!
Seems like its worth every penny ... and lots of fun with many sonic options to jack with. Thanks for posting the video and sharing!
Thanks Pete for introducing me to an octave pedal. Great tones and it looks amazing.
