We have the deepest concern and heartfelt condolences for those families who have lost loved ones in the recent days. I make this video for educational purposes only and am not looking to push an agenda.
Here are a few scenarios of what to and not to do after being pulled over.
Please note that I intended to include "except for officer safety" when I said an officer doesn't have the right to disarm you unless you have committed a crime. Too many things to try and remember to say.
Please share this with your friends and family. I believe this could be helpful to many and possibly save lives.
Any concealed carry instructors, trainers, LE departments or academies who would like to use this video for training purposes are welcome to use it. I only ask that it remain in it's entirety and that you link this video and not copy and repost the video.

How you should respond:
1.) Put your hands behind your back to show the officer you aren't aiming at them.
2.) Scream I have a gun very loudly so the officer knows for sure.
3.) Take it out so they can see it and aim it at them so they know it's real.
4.) Start sprinting towards them shouting that you have a gun some more just to make sure they know.
5.) Throw the gun at the officer so they can examine it.
6.) Give the officer a hug so that they feel safe and know your on their side.
7.) Survive!

Not sure it was pointless in his case. His life was over as far as he was concerned. What was his alternative? Spend a life in prison? If anyone else is wondering, there is also a quicker method.
First, when the officer approaches you, yell “I’ve got a gun” as loud as you can while running at them. Make sure to pull it out quickly without warning. Also make sure to wave it around and point it at them to make sure they can see it.

The best and safest way is by pulling out your gun and pointing it in the direction of the officer, especially if it is a revolver so he can see that it is loaded. Then you can kid around a bit and pretend you are gonna shoot him. If done correctly he is gonna be aware that you are carrying a gun and happily understand it.

Any time ive been pulled over and had my gun (which is 24/7) ive always been let off. Im up to about 5x now and always let off with no ticket. I wait for them to come to window (I lower it before they get out of their vehicle). I have my hands at 10-2 and I politely say "hello officer, I am a concealed carry holder.For your safety and mine I am informing you I am currently carrying on my person. How would you like to proceed?" In this case, in my experience a few things happen 1) they call for backup to be safe 2) they ask you where it is, and to step out of the vehicle. At this point if they do this, theyll ask you if it is ok to remove it from your person. In any case theyve either left it on me and told me to move slowly for my wallet (once they know where it is and it posed no direct threat) or they removed it, unloaded it and gave it to me back after. Be honest, be safe, and be cool and youll get respected for putting their life in your order of importance.

***** Of course they did. They dont hand it to you directly though. Usually they put it in your backseat or something. I had one put it in my trunk which was annoying, but everyone has a preference. Only once did the guy give it back to me loaded since we struck up a convo and he could see I was totally cool. Im sure text comes across different than how it actually is in real life. Regardless of your education level, there is a way of being calm, collected and showing you have the best intentions for their safety and yours. I happen to speak like that on a normal basis due to my career and education, but the same rules apply regardless. Show respect, get respect.

Different scenario - 2 man car, second officers walking up on the right side of the car. In this case he would see the gun before his partner probably even reached the window to start talking to you. At that point he screams "gun", one or both officers likely panic, and you may get shot even if your hands are on the wheel. Hence the reason I prefer concealed carry. Allows for disclosure of the weapon's presence in a controlled low-key manner.

Love these videos! Ironically I watched this the day I got pulled over for the first time. Officer asked for my license and insurance, and leaving both hands up I informed him of my license in my left pocket, and my insurance in my console under a firearm. Followed his instructions exactly, always made sure he could see my hands, and we had no issues at all! He handed me back the firearm and had a very calm demeanor after the whole thing happened. Thanks for giving actual useful information!

Or... you know what? Don't store the insurance card and registration in the same location as A LOADED GUN! Then you won't get dead if you happen to draw a nervous cop next time. Always keep everything a cop will ask for clipped over the visor. Then you can make it through the entire stop with your hands above the steering wheel and there's no need for the gun's existence to even be discussed.
