I've been an osrs player and just so happen to find out about the golden partyhat event going on so decided to hop on to rs3 for the first time in years. I thought i was just going to grind the shards, sell the hat and dip but now i've been obsessed playing this game & trying to absorb as much info as possible as fast as possible. Watching your vids has helped so much i've been binge watching so many of these. No idea if I will actually stay and play this game like i used to or just go through a phase then move on back to osrs but right now in the moment i'm loving every second of learning all this and prepping for all this new content I've never done before. its only like 150 quest points out of like 400, you can boss easily in gwd1 gear if you learn the mechanics, and max combat stats is easy with ed3 trash mob runs (will also get you the money for gear and quests), you could start a new account leech ed3 to max combat stats use the money to buy prayer and some summoning, maybe run some more ed3 solo for money to buy better gear then quest and be ready to boss in like a month or 2
@@apewithacape9340 it is all dependent on goals. What you wanna do and how. If you want to rush pvm just to do pvm or you wanna take your time get yourself fully prepared. The method I wrote above is the hard fast grind out pvm method
@Vinter I just found the abyss five days ago. I have a blood shard necklace and with protect melee I can completely afk now. 49 to 98 range in 5 days when I spent months trying to get it to 49
Here's my take on it, not in order 1. 85+stats 2. Learn what abilities do/when to use them( which basics/threshes do the most damage. Using zerk, sunshine, deaths swiftness. Learning when to use defensives, mainly resonance 3. 70+prayer for dps prayers(95+ for curses/soulsplit) 4. Unlocking abils including ed2 if you melee 5. Summoning( beast of burden to learn, Titan/ripper for damage) 6. Learn boss mechanics(is there a 1 shot attack, do I need to prayer flick etc. And practice beforehand) 7.invention 8.Herblore(overloads) holy is ok for starting then supreme then elder 9. Armor(don't use tank armor unless you're learning basing yaka) use power armor for more damage 10. Weapons(understand that gwd2 weps are t80 dmg only use if you can't afford t90+ weps and need accuracy) There are also t87 weps from wildy Slayer that kind of bridge the gap not the melee wep though. Edit:forgot auras, the best damage ones are maniacal berserker and reckless, vamp and penance may be helpful when you first start out and don't need the accuracy. They are also timegated with loyalty points/war's shop which requires you to boss without auras on a new account
With 84 summ craft and con(not hp) u can make pack pig t3 pouches. They have 4 more slot then war tortoises and u get 10 free weekly after bringing home the bacon quest. With 150 quest points u can go south of varrock to may's quest caravan and pick up t75 hybrid armour and a hybrid weapon you will need to 75 defense to get the armour to be t75 otherwise it will be t50 or t25. So you will be able to save 60m that you can throw into other skills. With 90 smithing you can make elder rune gear. Elder rune armour is t90 tank gear and will give you more room for error when learning a new boss with melee. Also with 90 smithing and access to priffandis you can make and attuned crystal weapon which give lvl 80 weapons. You will only get 1 free seed extra seed you will have to earn. You can also train combat by doing slayer tasks. The higher your slayer lvl the better tasks you will be able to get and at 99 slayer you will get access to your own slayer dung where you can store slayer creatures you like without interference from other player.
This is really helpful gonna grind out till 85 thank you lol I'm 70 in all combat magic prayer attack just gonna take it slow but i wanna pvm sooo bad lol also I'm glad you go into detail about armour and weapons and how to obtain ect everyone else doesnt even go into much detail explaining tier weapons and armour
Guys they are tier 75 because tier is calculated from the stats the equipment give. Bandos armour for example has the same armour as normal tier 70 armor but its strength bonus boosts bandos armour on tier 75. In rs3 armour and weapons have a level requirement which you people misunderstand as tier, the tier is something else than level requirement.
No worries, im 6 skills away from being maxed that arent cb skills. Im only good at QBD, gwd2 I suck at though the twin sisters are fun to do, and Ive only managed to kill arraxi 2 times so far. I see pvmers on twitch doing crazy stuff with weird setups and it just baffles me. I have 0% knowledge about this game, even after this long period of playing.
@@tunod- they have lots of bars out because they play on manual(something that's for higher level pvm players) and they need defensive abilities and thresholds etc for harder bosses so they use keybinds for all their abilities. It is really hard and confusing

One thing to note is you have one point that says you need 43 prayer for your protection prayers and then 95 for curses. I think you shouldn’t have included protection prayers and instead covered something like good accessories or how to set up your bar for good DPS or even talk about defensive abilities. Otherwise really good video, I pretty much went through all of these when I started getting into bossing
Dont buy shadow glaives or nox longbow for a main range wep, buy a wyvern crossbow. The ability to use barkrimenal bolts just makes it the better option. Tthe cywir orb is t90 acc 80 dmg, but off hand doesn't effect accuracy, so its basically just a more expensive virtus book. vampirism is not a bossing aura, dont get it for bossing. Get the berserk/maicle/reckless auras instead.
If anyone is coming to this video after this comment, DO NO STOP AT 92, NOT WORTH IT. Soul Split is extremely overrated on it's own, you will need a lot of things to actually make the 100% use of it, i stopped at 92 for a while and it felt highly demotivating for having spent all that money for theorically nothing (ofc it wasn't for nothing but as i said, SS on it's own it's just not good enough). Go for 95 Prayer as stated in the video, it will make combat (bossing in general) A LOT, and i mean A LOT easier (ofc paired with Overloads, which there's a couple guides out there on how to not lose a lot of money or in some cases, make money while training it and high level gear)
When pvm is time gated behind months of gameplay that's a good rpg I just wish I could get into community but it seems like there is none which destroys rpgs
Dont be that guy if you havent played the game a good amount of time yet. Runescape is different from other MMORPG's considering its a huge grind but with every skill opening up new opportunities with every level makes it a good grind. And the bosses, if training solely combat it can be done within 2 weeks. Godwars is one very popular thing on both OSRS and Runescape3 and that content is definitely within 2 weeks reach. 1 week with watching guides.
Amazed you didn't mention that augmented sirenic and tectonic can be repaired instead of degrading to dust. So to save money, you can use the augmented parts of those, along with slightly lower tier repairable gear for the other parts. At least this is what I plan on doing once I level every f2p skill enough (at least 95, probably want 98 smithing so I can pound out some quests and items and then make masterwork) to bother getting membership.
This is 2020 bro, dont be afraid to just say "look you need 95 prayer and temple of senntisten to efficiently do bosses or you're a noob and shouldn't be doing bosses until you get these" If you're listing these low requirements this video has zero value for the current playerbase
When you have those kinds of stats/quests accomplished...you don't look up an introduction to Bossing, you look up optimal setups and which bosses to camp for maximum money. These requirements/goals are for newer players or players who have never bossed before, looking for guidance, which this video provides admirably. You also pick your bosses based on your own skills, and not all bosses require high level stats to fight. Saying that these kinds of resources have 0 value is simply ignorant. 43 Pray and T70 gear should be sufficient for the easier bosses(albiet not efficiently). That is OK. They gain something even more valuable than efficient kills...experience, and I'm not talking about XP, but actual experience facing enemies that have mechanics, which most enemies in this game do not outside of quests.
Overload can actually be boosted from 89 or 88 herblore I think. I was making them at portables but you have like 1 minute before you have to wait till the boost hits again so it is time consuming not to mention first making the extremes
regular mw is more than enough for anything except very high-end pvm. sure, if you have the spare 300m, go for tmw, but there are many things that should have higher priority over that upgrade.

I would not bother with anime core or masterwork. going for a set of t70 gears and save up for t90 wep. Before upgrading gear. Unlock invitation as the perks are even better.

Bruh, at 99 you can solo 90% of bosses in game. The other bosses - either get into a clan where people are willing to go bossing or you can join community bossing events. There are FCs for ED3 trash runs, there surely are FCs for bossing.
Destroy is better than hurricane on a pure damage standpoint, but the best situation is to have both. Using both you can basically only use 188 basics the entire time with cleave decimate sever and dismember
Yes, that's how I got thousands of overload doses done at 89 (Now at 94). Just waited on core boosts to pop and made overload doses. Skilled other stuff when I didn't have the boost
How the fuck are you going to make 43 prayer a requirement and then also 95 prayer a requirement. Why not just say 95 prayer instead of having 2 slots both dedicated to a prayer level. Lol.
It's not hard to make money in rs3 ive had my account for a year and I have a noxious scythe masterwork cinderbanes and a ring of death I've made all my money from ed3.
@@jaehaeryss9651 you can repair a broken set of augmented t90. You have to augment a new set and use the old set on the new one. Useful for keeping the item xp if you have xp for the level 20 buff, or if you want to recover a perk.

I remember getting 50 prayer in f2p by burying normal bones.

I would say atleast 92 prayer yes it’s high but by the time your ready to boss you should be pretty close.

Yeah, Nox scythe us 360m as of right now, Seismic and Nox bow are about the same though. Good thing i got all of em lol

decimation bow with pernix set, lotd and bloody fury amy would be ok ? range 90, attack 82, defense 86, str 81, magic 82, pray 78 and summ 77 atm :)

Now scythe is 340m and I don’t think I’ve ever used such a good weapon.... lance was nice but try and go for that scythe

All my combat stats are 99 I've not unlocked curses, but the only boss I've ever done is bandos... never had a team that helps me boss

@@jaehaeryss9651 you can repair a broken set of augmented t90. You have to augment a new set and use the old set on the new one. Useful for keeping the item xp if you have xp for the level 20 buff, or if you want to recover a perk.
