I used the bullman outdoors with a saddle and went to muddy sticks and made a small platform on my top stick-works great and more comforatable on the feet and can still get good side support
That's crazy you uploaded this video after this mornings hunt and having a platform I screwed myself on a nice public land buck was able to swing around the tree I thought to myself I need to buy some of these finnaly sat down looked up your channel to see if you have videos on it and sure shit lol
Dude that sucks!!! Yeah I definitely love the ability to swing around if needed to get the shot off. These bullman steps are nice, he also makes an aluminum version as well. I also been trying the treehopper version and those are pretty slick when using an Eastern woods OCB set up.
@@bowhuntingfiend7098ya it was terrible of course the buck looked into my sole while I was trying to do some saddle yoga so I must stopped and looked at em told him to to F*** off and the way he went 🤣 damn timber goats lol.
They all have a place but if I had to choose just one it would be the treehopper steps. They are kinda bulky but have the best bite and resist side pressure the best in my opinion. I also am using an Eastern woods outdoors OCB buckle and strap with them as the treehopper strap is kinda bulky
Nice! I just made a ros out of some ameristep steps with an ocb buckle. I’m gonna try it out when I head back to Kansas this weekend.
I never thought a ROS made a difference until I actually used them in a hunting scenario. I love em.
Thanks for the highlight ! They really do have a place in every saddle hunters arsenal !
They definitely make 360° shootability possible.
Just purchased these man thanks for the review on them.
Awesome man. Get an OCB strap from eastern woods outdoors and you should be good to go.

@@bowhuntingfiend7098 so out of those 3 what would you recommend

Hey bud what pants are you wearing in this video?
Truwerk I think is the brand
Nice video.. That ocb strap seems much more quiet than the ratchet straps. Where can I get one if those?
Eastern woods outdoors sells that one.
So you use this instead of a platform with your saddle?
For most of my sits yes.
My ESS and these are dope. But, I do use the ratchet instead of the ocb bc I'm 220lbs of fatass....
I will use the ratchet if I plan on hunting the same tree a few times leave it up like a preset.
