I have this same paper pad! I bought it on Black Friday for $5 Michael's several years ago. So far, I've mainly used it for sympathy cards.

Do you do anything to cover the spine of the mini albums?
Yes, sometimes I will cover those envelope mini album spines with paper.
How are those smaller albums bound together?
Janice Repass Great question! I didn’t do any extra binding on these. When I glued each of the individual cards together, I also put a piece of scor-tape at the outside edge. That held the spine of the album together. Sorry, it’s hard to describe without showing it. Hopefully that answered your question?

I loved your video ....I also told myself I had to start using my paper packs ... And it has been taking me a month or close to a month depending on the count ... But I must say I loved the 2 Mini albums u made and I was wondering if u had a tutorial on how u made that ...I love that it is flat thanks hope u can attach a link..... Darcy
