    wow! I love your cards. My mind doesn't do random but I'm trying to loosen up and go there. Watching you and hearing how your mind works is not only fascinating, but inspirational too. Maybe just cutting up a pad of paper and forcing myself to use it all is what I need to do. Thank u so much. Looking forward to more videos.

    I think it’s amazing that you use up a whole paper pad, I have never done that before, but working on one now in order to use up my stash ... thank you for your inspiration x

    Hi Beth, so I loved the kill a pad project idea, and now I have the remaining papers in my Craftsmart 12 x 12 pad with the borders and / or large sentiment covering the whole page. I’d like to ask what you do with those, and if you could share an example of a few ideas. Thank you for sharing!

    • @BourbonCreekCrafts
      @BourbonCreekCrafts  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The boarder pages you could cut up and layer them onto card fronts. The large sentiment pages you could make into gift bags, wall hangings or cut up the words and use them on cards. I’ll keep thinking on this.

    Where did you get the sketches of the various cards?

    • @BourbonCreekCrafts
      @BourbonCreekCrafts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually find them on Pinterest. If you don't use Pinterest, you can just Google "card sketches". If you're on Pinterest, here is my Card Sketches board where I save all my sketches I find: www.pinterest.com/bourboncreekcrafts/card-sketches/

      Welcome, Deb! Card prices vary from area to area and how much time/detail you put into them. My individual cards are usually around $3-$4.

    @debhouckscraftycottage9288 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Wow! I so need to do this with 12x12 papers I have, and some 6x6 also. Do you just go search online for the card sketches and print and save them? What do you Do with all your cards? TFS

    • @BourbonCreekCrafts
      @BourbonCreekCrafts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Deb! Most of the cards I donate to Cards for Soldiers. Some I keep for myself or card showers. And some, I sell. I have a Pinterest board where I collect the card sketches. Then as I need new ones, I print them out. Now I have a collection of printed ones on my desk for quick reference!🙂

    • @lynneclark7902
      @lynneclark7902 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is what I need to do....print them out, that is. I started cutting some, and then had to set it aside for a while. Then when I went back, I couldn’t remember the sketch I wanted to use.

    Where do you get the blank cards?

    • @kaycure8629
      @kaycure8629 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make them from 110lb cardstock.

    • @BourbonCreekCrafts
      @BourbonCreekCrafts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, like Kay’s comment, I make my own card bases from heavy duty cardstock. You can also buy premade ones at craft stores or on Amazon!

    Who runs out of cardstock? I have more paper than any woman needs.

    • @BourbonCreekCrafts
      @BourbonCreekCrafts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never run out of all cardstock but I do run out of certain colors a lot. Or I don’t have that specific shade that I really want....😀
