Maybe the burned assistant puppet was a failure because she could talk and wasn't mute? This could also cause a problem if being put into puppet form was against her will she'd be able to expose everything.
That's the only thing that would make any sense, but the doctor did a bad job burning her!

18:00 That voice on the other end of the phone line made me have to pause the video for a few good minutes because I couldn't stop laughing uncontrollably. That had to be one of the funniest damn things I've heard in living memory. And they used that take for the final cut of the film!

Puppet master was one of the first horror films I saw as a kid. During the '80s it was a crazy amount of horror movies in this particular movie I saw as a young child after school at the boys & girls club. Lol

I've always been a huge B-horror fan. I loved your reviews of Puppet Master sooo much, I couldn't wait for this review of 6, I went out and watched all the movies on my own. I seriously regretted the decision... But I do want to thank you for the inspiration in the first place, and I'm extremely happy you're finally back to continue the series
then there are the crapster pieces that starred Cory Feldman as the decendant of Toloun the puppet master. one that introduces the character and a Jason vs Freddy isqe of Puppet Master and some long forgotten copy of a franchise called Demonic Toys I think

I honestly really love the idea of this series, and the puppets themselves. Really wishthey'd do more like pm3 though. I love that one. I remember watching sssssss and thinking that that plot felt familiar.
Also apparently the reason this film was made as the planned puppet wars tv show was scrapped for being to expensive and them losing paramount's backing so this was Charles band using his own money to finance the film which explains all the stock footage and cheapness of it.

Reignofrock never said anything about stealing. You need to look up the definition of the word "coincidence".
Both Deusdaecon and Cecil from GBF have both been reviewing the Puppetmaster series. Cecil, just like Deusdaecon, doesn't go in order with his Puppetmaster reviews, choosing to review one every couple of months or so. That's what makes this such a notable coincidence.

its almost like this is an anthology series, and the puppets are there to keep all of this random crap under one umbrella. Can't wait until you get to Retro Puppet master. The bad acting in that one makes community theater washouts feel better

I choose to believe that the apology at the beginning was to the audience. For the state of the franchise, possibly horror lovers in general, because sequentially worse sequels is a common tragedy.

Curse of the Puppet Master is mostly just stock footage. There are only a couple of death scenes in this movie and the rest is just filler scenes. The Puppet Master film from 2003 is literally just stock footage and it only contains about 20 minutes worth of new footage. The Torch puppet should have been used as one of the main puppets after Torch's performance in Puppet Master 2. There's something impressive about a puppet that can literally shoot flames 10 feet in the air.

I did but if I could remember this idea of the movie was inspired by that movie by the director if I can remember.
I think "Inspiration" is putting it mildly when there are straight up identical scenes in both films, its a rip-off simple as that, there no sugar coating it.

Honestly I stopped doing them, because it was just the same complaints over And over again, I wholeheartedly believe the videos would just become repetitive and not fun to watch.

Unless their public domain films its very unlikely, The quality of the film doesn't matter they'd all copyright strike a stream full stream of it.

It's a sign of how bland these films have been that I can actually enjoy bad films, but despite these reviews ending at 6 I have no desire to watch them to see how bad they get. I mean I tried to watch one they had on Shudder and it was so generic and boring that I fell asleep.
If the inconcistancy here bugs you.. Wait till you see the reboot...wich is more of a stand-alone start over
the inconsistency bugged me since puppet master 2 , that doesn't surprise me about the latest film because this series is incapable of being consistent.
