Yeah, I'd imagine it's hard having someone rinse you for money because you're a cash cow and none the wiser to it. "All he see's is dollar signs" all you need to know really.
I hope you are ready to spend some significant money on three cars that you have abused. You failed to take proper care of them and the resulting repair bill is going to be huge. High end cars cost very high end money to maintain and repair. That is just a fact. Since you have cheaped out on these cars by not dealing with their issues, I think you will continue down that path.
@@donaldmickunas8552 End of the day these are his property, and my man used to work at a Lamborghini dealer, I think he's just as educated as you are on maintenance and repair prices for these cars. Besides that, fairly sure the Bugatti video probably brought in enough revenue to cover for these expenses. So yeah, stay mad I guess.
The video is great. The Wizard always steals the show and Ed’s trip to find out how much the repairs were going to cost made for a great watch. At this point I’m invested
Mr Bolian appears to be the poster child for the VAG back catalog, also living up to the "won the lottery 10 years ago" motto that he likes. Love the garage and hope they continue to run for years to come.
I took my 87 Carmine Red Porsche 911 Targa in for annual service this spring. Typically $800-$1000. She’s NEVER seen a rain drop. Other than a few hundred rock chips she’s perfect. Bought her 30 yrs ago with 18k miles, it now has 91,000. Every mile is a bigger smile. This yrs service was $3500. And they want me to bring her in this fall for another $3800 issue. When I pick up the car after service I tell the manager to not tell me the amount. I close my eyes when I sign the credit card payment. Fix the damn thing, thank you! Cool cars aren’t cheap to maintain. I’ll live with it. At stop lights, I can’t tell you how many people yell at me and say “you want to sell it?” Looking for a 914 to take to MX for the winters. I win!
Great episode! I’m looking forward to seeing the Lambos refreshed and ready to run happily for many more miles. It was great to see the Car Wizard joining y’all. And last but not least, I salute your snappy sartorial choices, Ed. Bright colors aren’t just for exotic cars!
Love to see you giving the big Lambos' some much needed TLC. In the end, like you said, you've been kicking this down the road. Can't wait to see the updates and all the cars in proper working order. GL!
the black one should have alot chucked into it , could be a 2 million car with the "ralph lauren" connection , plus its just wow , the green one is wowww too
You made me feel a whole lot better about the 3 items I currently have to fix on my 1986 RR Silver Spirit and its occasional recurring problems. WOW! I have it easy, You made my day! The bearded Master even turned me down to work on the first RR Silver Spirit I looked at 4 years ago (I left it where it died!) 🙂
Honestly for what the cars are worth I'm not sure his exact numbers but having a engine out service history adds value. I would expect between 70k to 85k on average especially with electrical and interior work
Ed has given me a better, more comprehensive perspective of my Porsche collection, and I thank him for that perspective. Some day, I hope to catch him out in one of his Lambo's that's slipping in my 996TT to see what happens. I owe him a drink. We both own nice Volkswagens after all 😅
I dunno, im not taking any of my cars to a mechanic that lays car batteries on a bare cement floor. It drains them. Its like one of the first things you learn in the trade. If he doesnt know that, what else doest he know.
I love this channel. Ed Bolian is an underrated actor….to think he had no idea what it would cost to fix these cars after working in the industry for so many years is blasphemous😂😂😂😂😂
you know honestly I think you have the best group of cars I've ever seen here, a proper lambo, your collection of Murcie's, the Gallardo, the Spyker, what I kinda always wished the gallardo was really, the engine note and the design of the gallardo has always ticked me off as being way too safe and sounding like your being tailgated like an audi, while the audi V8 is what should have been in it with abit of italian flare and then this, like you could take all the keys as part of your daily routine, throw them into the air, attempt to catch one, and whichever one you catch for your drive, it would always be a great experence as you could even mud bog the gallardo without a care in the world and have fun with it like that guy did with a hurican awhile back that he had wrapped and they even make one just for doing that now too, like imagine finding a flood spec one of those someone had run into a river, like theirs GOTTA be one out there where someone duked it into a river by accident by now lol
Wow, this makes me feel really good about my 22yr old highly modified corvette. Its reliability is stellar, even if its not really usable as a daily. My garage floor still looks like new.
As far as lambo whisperers are concerned, my parents' neighbor Roger Brophy in Orange, CA had an LM-002 at his place and he was fixing the wiring harness on it. He holds several Whizzer bike land speed records and has many great stories for this channel!
Gotta love that the man goes to talk about fixing his 3 Lamborghinis on the cheap while wearing his Submariner! I would have broken out the Casio for this visit.
As a middle class Joe with a Porsche 997 with 195K on the ordometer, and can attest that I would never be able to afford the car if I took it to a dealer or expected it to be "perfect".
Those jaded tech machines are something, and the three cars are interesting too, .....but can we go back and have a look at the white Mini? 2:58 on the right.

I just can't see paying so much money for cars that constantly have issues. Large or small issues you shouldn't have to put up with it. I have a BMW M4 and I'm always a little nervous lol. Love you guys at Vinwiki! Definitely my favorite channel.
I want to get in that line around the block because of all of the exposure Ed is providing. Do you work on Subarus? I know my Outback isn't super sporty, but the Impreza kinda is...
my dealer up here in jersey charges anywhere from 40-300% up charge. bolts and nuts are ALL 100% and up. and certain drive train parts and seals are 100-200%! its CRAZYYYY
Damn I love the LP640 Mercy as much as the first time I saw one at the launch event in my country. The sticker price on the car I looked at back then (new, no idea what options it had but it was orange) read USD257k in my local currency rounded up. And I know import tax on vehicles in my country is insane. So much so that our economy doesn’t even enable the import and sale of what the US would call ‘Full Sized’ pickup trucks like the F150 and Tacoma. A fully specced Toyota Hilux or Ford Ranger which are considered small trucks in the US cost about the same locally as a Ford F150 in the US which is just insane. Nowadays the same USD257k could buy you the latest Porsche 911 Turbo here. So I’m interested in how much the difference was in the launch price here compared to the States and Europe on the LP640 back in the day.
Now I see how Hoovie feels...
big ed thanks for sharing your car garage with the public hope to see the aston collection and other misc cars u have
If I never check the codes causing my Christmas tree dash it never needs anything more than an oil change
Hoovie’s channel is trash, he’s annoying and not funny

That's a rare skill to have.

Huge thanks to The Car Wizard and DC MotorWerks for the help with this. Shrewd negotiations underway!

Hoovies tax hahaha

I love how far Ed's head sticks above the roof line in the Murcielago at the start of the video.
He had to take the driver's seats out of his hardtop Lamborghinis and drive sitting on the floor.
G8ED is an amazing plate
It works in so many ways

Why is Hoovie reincarnated as a mechanic in Georgia?
I wasn't watching the screen just listening too it. I thought it was hoovie.
Ed's got to put out lots of vids to help pay for the Bugatti... the lambos are just a test run. Great video Ed, thanks for sharing. John.
