Hey Brother an eighth tooth that makes more chain speed right and a 6 tooth will be more torque I think that's the way it goes let me know cuz I have the same saws you plus I have a 461
Yes, the higher the tooth count, the higher the gear. It's real hard on a clutch jumping up too large of sprocket size if the motor can't keep the speed up.

Maple. The chain isn't worked over. It's a regular work grind done on a Silvey SDM4.
