I love the throttle. Takes more than 1/4 turn so it isn't too sensitive for my clumsy hands! It is a twin pull, not push pull. I had to mount it with the cables facing forward, I tried to have them facing down but they interfered with the fairing when I turned the handlebars.
Check the steering head bearings. Mine were dry which made the steering heavy. My carbs also needed rebuilding, but kits are available. I got the conti pipe from Ian Gowanloch in Australia. The bike has since been sold and I now ride a Cagiva Gran Canyon :)
Hey, thinking in getting that throttle and switches for my Honda, would you recommend them? Are the two cables pull or "push/pull"? Is it 1/4 turn? Shouldn't the cables be pointing downward? Thanks.
Very nice example you have there!
Rolling the tyre backwards: the best way to know your bike's in neutral. Sorry! XD Great seeing them banging around!
Nice restoration work.
Thanks. Mostly just paint, polish and a vision in my head of what I wanted it to look like!
