    Happy New Year from a Kiwi living in Australia, the voice over format was excellent, my only whinge would be the music was a little bit loud, apart from that keep doing what you are doing anddoing well, looking forward to the next update.

    Happy New Year. I like the narration. Have you considered adding the closed caption option? I’m not sure if that would be unnecessarily redundant, but it’s a thought.
    I’m not a big fan of background music in a how to video, but I am sure there are lots of folks who prefer music with or without a voice over.
    I will try using medical needles as substitutes for molded pushrods. I might even try metal bits as spark plugs and wiring. WNW have nicely crafted engine detailing but I’m not thrilled with the quality in some other 1/32 kits - such as Roden and Mikr Mir( Fokker EV/DVIII).
    I will also copy your oil paint technique for the propeller on my next project. I’ve been painting a light shade acrylic base coat and then masking for contrasting stripes and then applying an oil wash and gloss varnish. Your method looks like a foolproof way for a great looking prop. I need to add more of those techniques in my builds
    Apologies for rambling on. Looking forward to future installments of this build. 👍

      Thanks for the feedback, I thought about videos without a music, but I just do not like the dead air and I have no idea what to use to fill it. I use different technics to paint propellers, masking as well, it depends on the propeller type. you can take a look on my "How to" folder

      @@FlyingCircusModels Well, I talk way too much so I don't have much of an issue filling dead air with something even more odious, my rambling! And I actually like the faint sound of the model making process. I know I'd be in the minority of one about that! But however you choose to present, your builds are amazing.

    Not usually a fan of voiceovers to be honest, but....that being said, this one isn't too bad actually, as for the music, maybe a touch loud, other than that, I still very much enjoyed the video!
    Keep at it my friend! 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻🍻

      Thanks, the music has the same volume level as usual, I didn't make any changes with it.

    Lol, my Question..... Is that Your voice? If so, it's a pretty good voice Fella. I'd like to hear Why your fascination with WW1 Aviation. Keep the voice overs, Saves me from having to read sub titles while you do your thing. I would like to say...Thank You! I've learned A Lot from watching your builds.

      thanks, I wish I had so cool British accent, but it's not my voice, it's a special system that transfers text to voice recording

    I don't mind the voiceover as it doesn't distract with what's happening visually....sometimes when reading subtitles I miss what's happening with the build. I like your choice of music as it gives me something to listen to while watching the build. I've watch some other channels where no music is played or anything is narrated and, to me, something seems missing. Another one for the vault....the pushrods made from needles....great idea!!
    I'm currently building the SH 1/32 Bristol M1C and find it a little challenging regarding fit and lack of details resulting in scratch-building especially with attachment points. I'd be interested in your opinion how are you finding SH compared to Roden? I look forward to seeing part 2.

    • @FlyingCircusModels
      @FlyingCircusModels  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the reply, exactly without a music I also feel that something is missing, the dead air has to be filled by something, either conversation or music, or something else.
      I thought about buying Bristol, but decided that new Gaudron G.III will be more interesting, because it's a brand new model, so it's flying to me and will be my next build, after this Fokker

    I like the new narration but it sounds a bit too robotic, if this is your real voice please accept my sincere apologies. Not a big fan of the music, sounds like you are trying to do too much. It's about the build not so much about the background music. Your builds are some of the best on TH-cam which is why I subbed to your channel...

      @FlyingCircusModels  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Phil, it's not my voice, it's a special program, I do not like how my real voice sounds on a recording, I tried lol... about the music - any ideas how to fill the dead air?
