    Beautiful story. I feel so bad for her biological parents. She’s fortunate enough to have TWO sets of loving parents, though.

      Why? I've seen the full story on this. She has a very strong bond with her adoptive parents and she went back home with them. She said she understands how this impacts her birth parents but her birth parents were more moved by the reunion than her. She already has a family but she knows they must have worried about her for years. Watch her with her bio family knowing this now. You will see that reflected in how she Interacts with them.

    It was a very difficult time in China, when they brought in the law for one child only. It would’ve been one of the hardest things for her biological mother and father to do, because there were forced abortions and harsh penalties for having more than one child. This beautiful young lady Kati was give. a chance at life many didn’t get.
    For Kati, not knowing until she was older, this must have been hard for her too, not having any contact with her biological family for 20 years.
    She has come to know her adoptive parents and not knowing anything about her biological parents, it will certainly take her time and her biological parents to develop a relationship. I wish Kati and both of her families all the best for their futures together.

    • @MichaelHsu95
      @MichaelHsu95  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Es una situación extraña, pero al mismo tiempo pienso que a los americanos les cuesta expresar las emociones. La chicha se queda como una roca cuando su madre le abraza por primera vez. Es muy raro.

    • @alandroc.718
      @alandroc.718 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Saludos desde Nueva York! Yo también pensé lo mismo. Ella no expresó ninguna emoción, pero eso no es solo una costumbre de los Estados Unidos. Nací y crecí en este país y soy una persona extremadamente emocional. Lloré profundamente viendo todo el documental, especialmente cuando se despidieron ... la forma en que se comportó y cómo se expresó puede tener mucho que ver con el hogar en el que se crió, en combinación con ser una niña adoptada. Quién sabe!

      Do some research and learn about the China 🇨🇳 strict one policy child rule back then before you begin to judge. Its safer to leave a baby in a safe place where someone can care for them than to kill them.
