Critically acclaimed musician Ted Yoder is widely considered “the Bela Fleck of the hammered dulcimer." Ted is a National Hammered Dulcimer champion. He’s released five beloved and critically acclaimed solo albums, and become a master educator of the instrument.
Ted has been profiled in the Kearney Hub, Huffington Post, and on NPR’s All Things Considered show, among many other features, profiles, and reviews in regional and
national tastemaking outlets. On Wednesday, August 24, 2016, Ted became something of a household name when a Facebook Live video of him from his Live From The Orchard series playing Tears For Fears’ “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” went viral. The video rocketed up to 53 million views in four days

Dude you made me cry... I found you guys through SMA and just the beauty of seeing someone as talented as you using your gifts and doing it in a way to support your family brings joy and hope to more than I'm sure you can imagine. Your reach is endless so much so that a kid in Philly like me whose aspiring to inspire others through his music can see this and be encouraged. Keep doing what you're doing. Congratulations on all your success and all the success that is coming your way. God bless you and your family.

I am way late to the game here, but this is beautiful. I first heard the hammered dulcimer at a Renaissance fair was obsessed with the sound. Now, hearing this rendition of Don't Stop Believing, I'm blown away. Well done, sir! I'm pretty sure you've inspired a lot of people to want to try this instrument...myself included.

No, I think that fiddle solo would sound fantastic on dulcimer.

I am used to people playing a sort of folksy, mountain music on hammered dulcimers (like stuff you should do Scottish folk dances to.) I have really loved hammered dulcimer for a long time but the reason that you stand out is that you play music I don't associate with hammered dulcimer and you seem to use the instrument in a unique way. You stand out as something unique and by the comments here, I can see that I am not the only one that thinks so.. Great work.
