Very helpful and thorough video, thanks for sharing. This confirms the saying 'you get what you pay for'. I was literally looking at this portkeys model vs the Cine7.
Just got the Portkeys here. Love the build quality, but I have the same screen “flickering” sometimes… do you see it all the time or just sometimes or with some inputs? Thanks for the video
You have to hook the monitor up to the computer (SDI/HDMI). The calibrator sits atop the monitor, but all calibrations are done through the computer and you put the LUT (DisplayCAL creates it) on the monitor using a SD Card/USB drive. The monitor shifts through different gray values and color values when calibrating. There are a few good tuts on TH-cam showing the calibration process in depth. Here's the one I like: th-cam.com/video/f2nVNxx1IHo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zq0nIGAad3x2BBEf

I only saw it when filming the screen with another camera. In this case, the flicker is the refresh rate and chances are, it’s always present.
Dear customer, could you send us the video of the phenomenon via FB? so that we can help you further~Thanks for your cooperation
How did you manage to calibrate it? Did you just put a monitor calibrator on it whilst it was displaying white?
