i genuinely enjoyed the event and the awful builds since it made things harder thus more interesting on a pro level. beating the rounds felt actually satisfying, bcz it wasn't a piece of cake like usual and made me think of fun playstyles i never would've thought before. love it!
It was satisfying seeing my friends who claim they're good just that they didn't spend/whale fail.
This event was literally a team building skill test, and it's mind blowing how many people failed at it. If you had the bare minimum notion (and braincells) of knowing what to do you, you could clear the max difficulty on 5 minutes average, tops.

some people doesnt even have c1 on their 4 star character, i think thats why people are complaining. its easy for people who has c6 4 star. this event literally depends on your character, the build is from the event but the constellation depends on your account.
its easier for me to 36 star with solo c1 neuv amber + c0 alhaitham and c4 kuki duo, than doing this event.
@e5735 That's a duo run, not solo. But yes we get your point, and even then is almost cherrypicked, as you can still beat this event with a c0 xingqiu, c0 xiangling and so on. Once again, it's all about picking proper teams. You certainly don't need c6 characters for Nilou bloom or plunge xiao, neuv hypercarry... and if that wasn't enough, zyox even made a point by choosing bad teams *on purpose* and was still able to beat the event, except that one fight with the ruin chickens.
bro their ayato build was so bad, i was hitting 9k na's with bennet and kazuha buff
Fr my normal ayato hits like 30k or sum with bennett and kazuha and sometimes 40k

really liked this event lol, I heard some people were bitching that the trial characters keep your cons and so it's a "whale event" but playing on my friends ar 50 account I was able to clear super easy with no cons whatsoever so I can only assume that people just have no idea how to build teams, or are unfamiliar with rotations of characters they don't own
It's also building teams from that limited character pool. And some of the characters having such craptastic builds, that it makes you think the characters are worse than they actually are. And some things, like that Kuki build... 200 EM on Kuki... just no.
Mind you, I got through the event without much trouble. And that's without bothering to check the builds on characters, favoring characters I want to use over characters that were best to use, and not really checking ahead of time what the enemies or special triggers and such were.
I didn’t know what half the characters did before this event and pro was still very enjoyable! I don’t know what people are cooking
This event has 100% proven that this community absolutely sucks at this game. Just put an ounce of thought into your team and this whole event should be a breeze.
Who is this game made for then. They want it to be casual but the casuals dont even care about team comps so how would they know what team comps to use?
@@islowclick Who knows, ask the devs who they designed the elemental reaction system, how every character's kits work into those reactions, and every other RPG aspect of this game for.

Its because they advertised this game for casuals. Overworld combat is BRAINDEAD. Whats the point of caring about effective teambuilding if everything still dies in 5 seconds?
EDIT: not to mention, these are trial characters. Only whales are experienced and know how to use every single characters kits efficiently. Casuals will have to do trial and error
Constellations are also a factor. Even though its still possible to clear without them, people with constellations have a false sense of "this event is easy" despite the advantage they have over other people.
I really liked this event as a newer player because it allowed me to check out a bunch of 5 stars I hadn't gotten to trial yet. I also found the last stage a bit difficult on the highest difficulty, which made it fun to actually try to buildcraft while rationing out my characters effectively
Problem is that the poor builds will give you the wrong impression of certain characters. The regular trials are bad enough, with the inflated energy and such, but some builds here were utter garbage, while others were okay...
@@Axterix13I don’t think it would give you the wrong impression it’s very apparent that you get your own artifacts for said character if you ever get them , no one thinks a trial character is at their full potential

i LOVED this event so much. it really tested how much a player knows about rotations and elemental reactions rather than relying on builds.
Playing this event took a lot of tries. Because i gotta be honest with you. I dont have most of these characters especially after inazuma's release, and the ones i do play arent in the trials. So it was kinda hard to know the mechanics. Took me a few tries tho
honestly with all the chat complaints, just goes to show that majority of zyox chat can't do genshin comps/rotations properly 😭

I love draft formats in games. was a big fan of hearthstone arena and madden ultimate team. hopefully this comes back

@@X0v3r SAME, i love drafting in TCGs and Hearthstone Arena it really tests your deck build and card evaluation. This events tests your team building, planning and how well you can play hopefully it's even harder next time.
its easy tbh you can clear it with 2-3 char, but you cant deny they have bad builds lol.

They used to. I believe in the earliest trials if a there wasn't an artifact set directly released for a character the character would get nobless

This was all about teambuilding. Their Alhaitham was hot garbage but with a hyperbloom team I still made it work. I liked this event a lot tbh
Trial character events are amongst my favorites, since most events are not hard enough to matter and I don't have to rebuild everytime.
I actually really liked the event. Its not hard but it takes a few retry's.
This humbled me wtf 😭😭 (I struggled on the last one, maybe because my rotations are bad, or my lack of knowledge with Nilou)
Enjoyed this event. Made me theory craft a lot of teams. I remember actually planning out my run around a plunge Keqing team xD.
0:40 I love how chat tries to make fun of these builds, when they themselves probably don't even go past 20cr, still build their kazuhas for dmg over triple em, expect their furinas to do well with only 110%er or worse, and an endless etc. This event proved they can't even do the most basic shit when it comes to team building. That Yae Miko with 70/140 ratio was better than 80% of people's yaes. And sure, the er on her was low but you don't burst every rotation with her anyways.
This event was easy but combat chasm event where we could pick more freely was better. Being funneled into specific characters who also happen to be new and thus need marketing and testing makes for a mid experience on our side.
This was also my issue with the event. I don't mind restrictions being in place such as the character stamina system and limiting options to 2 picks per round, but we should've been given access to the entire trial pool for each round. Some of the team comps you're funneled into due to lack of good options weren't all that fun to play imo. Meme teams are only fun for me when given the option to apply meta builds to otherwise bad teams, but trial characters come with some really awful builds which just means I'm playing bad/mediocre teams with some really cope artifacts/weapons lol.
I need events like these way more it honestly helps with knowing what characters you should pull for esp since the weapons and stuff are f2p friendly-ish since its 4 stars mostly

This event was probably one of the best- it was genuinely fun
i loved this event, i even tried it w shitty team comps and obv it was more difficult to complete, but still fun nonetheless since i never thought id enjoy playing some of these teams like lyney mono pyro
The only one I got stuck on was the one that ended on an abyss lecture, and I used up all my Hydro characters except Ayato.
I cleared this event with just duo and it's the first time i had a difficult time in a long time

Its good that they are trying to test other game modes in events. Supposedly they try to include this in the endgame at least let me build my own artifacts

I'm a casual player (trying to build my charas but im not there het) and I enjoyed this event! I had skill issue yes, but passing the hardest difficulty made me proud

If the trial character were good(well built) and to balance that the enemies more difficult, this event would have been ok. I first tried the hardest difficulty and still hated this event more than the current abyss(ruin serpent and wenut)

This event was fun. You had to think through and make a viable team comp (while considering trash character builds that hoyo gives us)
Like. yelan hitting 5k with her burst? Pain. But it made it fun, challenging.
I think the event is great, but for those who struggle with creating teams on the fly there's also an opportunity for content creators to make guides. :)

Kuki being consistently given TotM instead of gilded or FoP in these trial events makes me die a little inside.
But remember, she was designed with dendro in mind, people! Everything that works in Genshin is due to sheer genius on their part, everything that doesn't is because they're playing 4d Chess and it'll work with the next region or the one after that, and they never ever screw up.

event was cool for the most part but you CANNOT tell me that the vape/melt challenge without hu tao, diluc, or even fucking gaming was in any way enjoyable (replayed it like 3 times to try and "find the fun" because the discourse surrounding this event is driving me INSANE)
I didn't really pay attention to the challenge part. I just picked a character or two to play, then built a solid team a team (as possible) for them.
People actually hate this event?? This is the funnest combat event in ages.
The only hard part is the Pro difficulty, which takes a several retries. It doesn’t even give you primos, so people shouldn't be mad about not being able to clear it.
Having difficulty is the fun part! You experiment with team comps of characters you don't have

I would say if people can't even complete this in Pro they literally have skill issue. They should not even complain about endgame at this point then. The builds are actually what any f2p new player would have and those who are not new should know how to play these characters with perfect timing.

Hate the fact that i cant use my own characters. I fking pulled and built 20 characters and i cant use it. Bruh. Im fine with there being trial characters but just let me use my own characters. I just want the free primos. If i wanted a difficult game i would go play sekiro. Fk this event.
If this is how the devs build characters, I understand how they think Dehya is fine as she is.
The event is really fun though, hardest mode made me realize I don’t actually know the enemies very well.

The event was infuriating to me, not because I wasn't able to clear but because Hoyo doesn't even know how to build their own characters lmao. Ayato, Layla, Ganyu, Cyno, Yelan, Dehya, Kazuha with Anemo goblet, Xianyun, Xiangling with no ER whatsoever. Yes they do add some level of "difficulty" if by difficulty it means having nearly every single one felt so goddamn bad to play and still show Genshin's difficulty is within the range of videogame journalists.
Im pretty sure the guys who made the fucking game can give you the most broken builds easily, but the point of the builds arent to be meta, theyre just simulating casual/f2p/new player builds
The event was easy, you can play with only 2 or 3 of the busted characters too and clear it. But the builds were so bad. Unlike some certain people, other people actually have good builds so it was annoying that we cant even use our own characters. The event was in no way fun, i already have most of the characters and using weaker ones isnt fun. Zyox has c6 on most characters and still some of his teams were cutting it close, thats the main complaint, the builds were bad.
You could do abyss with your characters and literally do the same thing? I don't see how this is a valid complaint.

@@whatisbow2865 you get free primogems in every event. They could design it so you can use your own characters and put in harder enemies instead of making the characters lvl 80. There are hardly any new characters either, even if it's for new players, do they have to give such bad builds "for new players"? The design of the event is just bad. Its nothing ingenious either, just mashing characters in a lower grade abyss.
@@whatisbow2865 also, you can use new characters every banner too, it's nothing new. There are other events too where you can use trial characters but none of them were as bad as this event. Have you thought about that? Other events also allow you to use other characters and they aren't this bad.
Genshin players are so crybabies. 6% crit rate overcap makes no difference if you are fighting lv85 enemies
Even without the most optimal builds the hardest difficulty is pretty easy if you just know what each character's strengths are and how to use them to your advantage.
I had to retry a few times but overall it wasn't like bs hard,it was actually kinda fun with how difficult it is
