It sounds very similar to the Gameboy Color theme from Megaman Xtreme, but far less harsh on the nerves and with more of the sounds that actually can be heard in Megaman X. Excellent conversion.
This cover is one of those that seems really simple at first, but has a lot of small details that really make it a cut above the rest. Also that short "WOO!" at 0:42 is really satisfying!
