@toastwsauce ive been listening to remixes like these for well over a decade, many of them are simply a chip "palette swap". i consider that just a basic fan piece. stuff like this with a new take on the melody are really creative and i love to see it
@@MissUmbra I agree, RJ1's Bubble Man covers are pretty awesome as well. Bubble Encore, the one from his MegaWave album, is one of my fav covers by him
rushjet1 did a good job too, but the lead synth is a bit... messier? fuzzier? it sounds like he might have used an extra channel or even two to make the harmony for it.
@@ishygddt72 Yk, I dont like doing the harmonies with three channels for that reason. They start to sound too messy for my tastes, which is why I dont always do harmonies with three channels at a time. However, RJ1 usually makes it work with his covers, and I think it might be because he makes it with audio panning in mind

RJ1 is still pretty good, I just took a different approach 🤷♂️
