If you black out the silver fender badges and letters in trunk the silver wheels actually look alot better silver although the wheels being blacked out look👌 also!!

How hot do the wheels get? Is it hot enough to deform the metal properties at all? BC I've read in Subie posts that Enkei wheel might get reduced structural strength from heating like that, but not sure if that's bogus or not, and Enkei make many of the STI wheels. --DAMN! they look good!
How hard was it to paint the wheels black? I want to do the exact same thing. I like my 2021 wheels, but I'd rather have them in black. Cheaper than buying new wheels lol.
Thank you bro I appreciate that! & prices vary, but most of the time for gloss black shops charge $300-$600, you could probably find someone that does it cheaper for around $200 if you dismount the tires and give them the rims ready to go! Definitely changed the look of the car and made it look way better than the stock wheels looked! Especially on pure red, it’ll look good powdercoated something different rather than the stock silver looking wheels!
Tisho No, it only gets baked for like 30 minutes a wheel, you’d have to leave a wheel in an oven for a full day before it does any damage, never heard of any issues like that or have dealt with any issues like that with Powdercoating
I wonder what idiot/moron on the Subaru executive board approved these Kia style factory rims!? First mod I did on my STi was buy aftermarket wheels that are glass black. My Kia Forte factory wheels have 16 miles on em!
