Adam , there was a predominant weapon used by the police I cannot recall it's name. I believe it was named after a squid. Very long pole with hooks to grab and the bottom a spear point. They where used against the samari to catch at a distance. Than there was also weapons of there farming tools adapted to weapons I would love to learn more about
Some really cool antique weapons in this video. I had a few Stephen K. Hayes books in the early 90s… I didn’t live near anyone teaching anything close to me… just a few tae know do or karate places about 30-40 minutes away.

(Ninja Armor) how a acurate historical Ninja/Shinobi Armor would look like. Would it be mostly Tatami falding Armor and hashigane headband (alternate Tatami falding Kobuto) that Jizamurai (landet Samurai of Iga/ Mie Pefecture Or Koga Prefecture) and Ashigaru/foot Soldiers used as Ninja/ Shinobi would use as Armor ? Ancient Version and modern day Version would be interesting.
