I appreciate that you went back to learn the world better. I didnt play the game before watching, but I kept looking up the terms they used that I didnt understand. Like BDs, choum, nova and such. The more you know, the better the anime hits.
For reference People in holomasks - a previously mentioned gang "scavengers" ( in the second episode, the medic was going to sell David to them) Netrunners' bodies heat up during network entry, so some form of cooling is used to keep from dying from overheating, an ice bath is the cheapest and most common option. (An ice bath is still an ice bath, so most netrunners have artificial fingers or whole limbs after frostbite.) A gang with heavily modified faces - "maelstrom" , radicals seeking to stop being human, do not shuns the methods of scavengers, but more dangerous
"Live fast, Die young" that is the Edgerunners life in a nutshell. Lucy is very good at the whole "Femme Fatale" persona but at the end of the day she is a girl who loves FIERCLY 😁
This series is a good series to watch English with Subtitles. I am glad that you gave it a try with the Dub and subtitles. It is always good plan to try an anime in both Sub and Dub with subtitles and then continue it in whatever you enjoy best. Regarding Farraday witholding information from Maine and the crew. There are risks with giving details of the gig (like who is paying and why) to the cyberpunks who do the actual legwork. In some cases, you then have people who decide to use the info to do their own thing which complicates matters for the people who hire the fixers. Like if you were a gang that needed resources moved through another gang's territory, and the cyberpunk learning what the cargo was decided it was more profitable to sabotage the job by informing the opposing gang. Some cyberpunks would misuse the information and do something stupid with the information that gets themselves killed and create further problems that the fixer would rather not deal with. Others with too much information may also decide to cut out the middleman (the fixer) entirely and make a new deal with whoever had hired the fixer. It all depends on how much you trust those you hire, and how much regard you have for them. Someone who consistently does an exemplary job may be tested with small nuggets of information to see if they use that information to do a better job for you or to see if they betray you. Likely Farraday does not trust Maine and the crew at all. Regarding Rebecca opening the door with the gun, Night City is a very dangerous dangerous place. And when you operate on the edge of the law, you never know if the person answering the door could be NCPD or Gang shakedown or a friend. David looking for work is partially boredom, partially desire to practice and get better at whatever may be needed for him, and finally partially a need to impress and live up to the standards of others. This is a new world and way of life for David, and he would have to be a Gonk brain to not take advantage and learn as much as he can about it.
do you think it quite illegal what some channels do to give the viewers access to unedited episodes like pay the youtubers patreon because none of that money is going towards the copyright holder
With all the futuristic slang, the subs help. You just need to make sure your using the English dub titles, because they made a bunch of mistakes in the Japanese to English ones.

She really does love fiercely (from what I've seen so far!) I love her!

I’m not sure as I’m not educated in that are but I imagine it would depend on the country they’re in and how much commentary/reacting they do!
