Hey I knew Bill Mundy, and his dad. They were friends of my grandfather and my parents. They had a place between Hatch and Cruces. Bill and his family had a ranch in Chama. Thanks for the memories of them.

Thanks for taking us along on your rides!! Watching them helps me to reflect on my grandpa "Papa" who was born in 1893 and was a true cowboy thru and thru. As a young man he tended cattle on the Wah-Weep desert in southern Utah, at nights just spreading out his bedroll on the slick rock sandstone. One morning he woke up with a rattle snake under his bottom blanket, sharing the warmth of his body heat. He said it was ok, the snake was just trying to keep warm! Thanks again for all!!

It’s amazing how horses and mules a can act as if they’re completely wore out and you have to keep urging them on, then when you start the loop back they know it and suddenly they are full of energy. Hahaha! Not only do they have a built in compass but also try to fool you from going further away. Good video Bret! Enjoyed it as always. God bless.

We had a 12,000 acre ranch behind the house and the land owner was nice enough to let six 12 yr boys ride his place. The only requirement was close the gates behind us. Keep up the great videos... Brett, Clyde and Bonnie and Co.
Looking at that line shack wall behind you makes
me wish I knew the history of those dates, names and brands.
Zane Grey 1872-1939 , and , Louie 1908-1988 might have appreciated that place, also.
There are many spots in the mountains and forests of the west that have these
    kind of forgotten historical gems.
100 years ago you might have met them, but you were born too late:)

1 head red cabbage, shreaded, 3+ beets with tops diced, 1 big red onion chopped, plus several stalks celery, chopped, garlic, minced, fresh ginger grated, plus a whole bag of mixed greens. Saute the Onion garlic, celery, ginger in oilive or avocado oil. in big heavy bottomed pot. Add Cabbage and beets and water to cook. When soft add whole package of greens, and turn off fire. Salt and pepper if you like it. Really good and good for you! As always I enjoyed your ride!

No Bro, the coyotees, know that place, it has water. I wouldn't stay there at night ever. I once pulled off I-10 east of El Paso by a long way in the middle of the desert at a rest stop in the middle of nowhere. A county sheriff woke me up at 2:00 am. An told me I better be moving, as the border wasn't 10 miles away. An my white truck stuck out like a sore thumb, he sad he saw it from the border area that he was patroling, an it was 10 miles away. He said the illegals would jump me while I slept an steal my truck, if they didn't mug me or kill me for it first. Needless to say, I hightailed it out of there, an never did that again, Btw, I'm from Fla an had Fla tags, which he had already called in while I slept, an knew I was clean. Cant thank him enough for waking me up that nite. Thx for the vid

Great ride ! thoroughly enjoyed the editing of it.i don't know how u tube works but if it's a length of time issue and you'd make more for longer videos. I don't think if you threw another 10 or 15 minutes of just riding through certain patchs or really anywhere, that anyone would mind.most would probably enjoy it.anyway great life.Im heading to the valley along the SadeDaChristo mountain range in Colarado as soon as I finish this house and sell it to buy lots and put those little shed houses on them and sell and rent them.64 years old and social security ain't gonna get it.DaSadeDaChrisro in Spanish means ,The blood of Christ because when the conquistadors came through at night the mountains have a red glow. For everyone with the hope of eternal life in Christ, we will all be heading onward and upward pretty soon. Then one day we're all going on a horse ride.

We were out there a few weeks ago, we drove through on the main road to the locked gate and back out. Now that was a fine day out of the house alright 😀 I am a bit surprised that while you do pack a rifle you do not pack a sidearm of any sort, at least not that I can see. I've had occasion to need the pistol I carried a number of times. Small number I mean, all animals in wild places. In my case on foot, not a horseman or mules but a backpacker for fun and Search & Rescue too. Arizona mostly but I've family in your part of the country, so I've seen some of it. I'm thinking of trying my 1911 in a Tanker style holster, a WW2 reproduction holster.

The other problem that we have with the diet is we eat a lot of seed oils like vegetable oil, corn oil, canola oil, peanut oil. It's not good for your body. It's good to see that you're actually seeing the results of changing your eating habits. You will have a lot more energy. You'll sleep better and you're definitely will feel less pain

@@BrettVaughnB100now that the weather is nice in my area when I go to town I go to Brawley California to the Walmart so it's 50 mi from this Ranch I keep the dogs in the cab but I put them in a big kennel in the back of the truck sometimes as well but I feel so anxious all the time to get them out because running errands driving it's just takes hours and hours so what I do is I stopped out in the desert off of Interstate 8 have a place where I stopped and let them run and go to the bathroom it's kind of a halfway point but they will be in the cab of the truck or the kennel at least 3 hours 4 hours
