Sorry, I could have done this a lot quicker and taking a lot less damage, but I haven't touched this game lately. 35 Joes were utterly humiliated in the making of this video.
This is probably the best Final Fight. People get confused by the fact that Haggar decided to sport a kind of hillbilly metrosexual style with ultra tight shorts and a ponytail though. That shit is weird. But I guess it was the 90's , Haggar probably appropriated the Mad Gear Gang's (from the previous games) coke supply and got carried away. Who hasn't made questionable fashion choices while coked up?
This game is excellent in so many ways. For example - In alot of street brawlers you’ll find yourself going through typical places of the city. While in this game your going down alleys and crevices of the city with a mix of common places. The move set is great. It also seems that this game in particular stays closer to the original approach than the second one did. This series actually did improve with each game despite the inferior hardware.
I find this game boring compared to final fight and most beatemups. It stays too long on one screen and feels tiresome waiting to move until you beat the exact same enemies. You should always be moving forward in beatemups. It gets extremely reptative
@@alexojideagu Yeah, the sequels didn't do it for me except for the "infamous" Streetwise on PS2. Having 2 and 3 as console exclusives ended up hurting the quality, IMO.
I like the first for its atmosphere, music, and nostalgia value I have but this is probably the superior game. Much better than the 2nd. The larger move set and the branching level design is great. Probably my fav SNES beat em up apart from the first FF.
Am I the only one that has ever noticed the Power Loader, the pulse rifle, and the flamethrower from the movie Aliens in the lobby part of the last stage!? Whenever I look at videos on Final Fight 3, it seems like no one ever talks about that. I've always thought that Capcom was dropping hints that they were going to make a Super NES port of their 1994 arcade adaptation of Alien Vs. Predator sometime in 1996, but for unknown reasons (possibly legal and/or financial), it never came to be. Either that, or Black, the final boss, must have been a die-hard, hardcore fan of the Alien franchise with more than enough disposable income to afford those movie props. =)
I do agree with you, that I would rather play Final Fight over Battle Toads;but not the Ninja 🐢.The turtle games were bad ass;accept for the first one for the NES.

I played a lot of time on the SNES and back in the time I didn’t even care about bad sound compression, lack of memory etc. The SFC was my favorite console. But when I could afford a MVS system and could endly play real CPS2 arcade games at home too, I now realize the Super Nintendo limitations. Final Fight 2 and 3 could have been incredible games on a true arcade system, I am still waiting for a true arcade sequel of Final Fight now…25 years later !
it's crazy how many parallels there are between FF and SOR. both have three main games on their respective systems, starting with a flawed but fun original, a much improved sequel that is relatively pricey but still affordable, and then a Third one which everyone wants to complete the trilogy but is way too expensive, so it tends to get overlooked.
Final Fight 1 is like 12 bucks Final Fight 2 goes for 30 to 40 bucks Final Fight 3 goes for 100 to 200 bucks Final Fight Guy goes for 800 to 1000 bucks( because it was a blockbuster exclusive)

well, at 43:27 it has 4 enemies. but final fight games for whatever reason stuck with 3 almost always (capcom has some lazy programers that didn't know how to deal with slowdown and get rid of it) snes beat em ups with lots of enemies are turtles in time(i've seen 4 foot soilders, 5 mousers, and 2 turtles all on screen at once no slowdown. best 16 bit beat em up imo) Ninja Warriors (constant 4, large waves of them, very fun. 2nd best 16 bit beat em up imo. awesome), Iron Commando, etc. fun note, powers rangers i saw 6 enemies on screen at once no slowdown towards the end of the game they all bunched up into one place (so that means the entire game could have had 6 at once the whole time no slowdown (solid beat em up). back then nobody cared much about on screen enemies,, lol) if the guy who programmed rendering ranger r2 did the final fight games on snes, he could have had it 2 players and 5 onscreen enemies, no slowdown
By the way, the two player mode can be difficult if you’re not able to beat the game with no continues. If I remember correctly, the continues you do get are shared between the two players.

When you came to 5:25 there come another man beside the boss, and you can't hurt him. That's happening in normal difficulity. The only thing you can do is hurt the boss as like you do. But it's very hard, because he disturb you. It's that a thing they added into the game? Because i can see you don't fall into that trouble.
They made Cody Travers ride the bench for a waste of space like Dean, whom they never bothered to bring back for even so much as a cameo in other games? Even Lucia got a DLC spot for SF5.

Hmm, maybe I misunderstand which game you mean, but there is an AvP beatemup on the SNES already, but it is not a very good port

Both brilliant systems, but the Snes will always have the edge for me personally. The 16bit era is and always will be the best.
