Gandalf - Carving the Lord… of the Rings. Fly you fools.

I tried a difficult edit style this time. Seems interesting.
I’m using Varathane oil based polyurethane, and Restore-A-Finish golden oak stain.

Great job, I would love some more info on the finish. The type of product you are using, the effect they give and why you picked them, how long you would wait the coat to dry out, things like that. It will help out beginners like my self greatly!

I didn’t draw it. It was a rendering of an actual photo of Gandalf himself. 😃

I really enjoyed watching you carve, my only comment was that the video being silent was a shame. How about adding some sort music to enhance the video and enhance the experience for the viewer? That’s good feedback, and I appreciate the compliments. I’m not sure what restrictions TH-cam places on music backgrounds for copyright rules and stuff, but it’s something I can look into!
