I haven't watched most of the show so I don't know if this is the case here, but in the comics his gun is forged from a sword created by God, and therefore able to kill anything; God also wasn't on his throne at the time, which is the primary source of his power. In the comics God was actually begging to be allowed to get to his throne; in the show his death was a lot more badass.
Alexander Brown in the comics death made the weapons from his sword and sewed up the saints skin after the devil whipped him for freezing over hell, sewing him up is what made him indestructible. Also the fact that he technically became the angel of death so he is no longer human
@@xXwhitebandanakidXx I know that the guns in theory can kill anything, my point is why God didn't stop the time, made him disappear or teleported hynself to somewhere, he was always bluffing how he could destroy the entire Creation in the blink of an eye any time he wants. Also, in the show and in the comic, God stopped the time and the Saint was there, he was affected total unable to move while God and Tulip had a conversation (in the comic is with Cassidy), so why God didn't try something like that before his death?
The show doesn't really do a good job of showing just how powerful the Saint of Killers actually is. In the comics he literally shrugs of nuclear strikes, and his mere presence freezes over Hell. His guns are also forged from the Angel of Deaths sword.

GAMMING CHANNEL dc vertigo shows are way better than the mainstream dc superheroes. I liked the preacher all the way and every seasons as it had so much to offer and every bit was special and new but the last season was just booring. They could’ve had better plot and ending for the final season. Oh and yes btw I can name a show that’s slightly bit better than preacher and that is Doom Patrol. I highly recommend u check that out
I partially wish we saw more fear from Herr Starr toward god, the one of two beings that'd terrify him, the other being all-father.

I loved this show for how different and crazy it was from what I've seen so far in for example "Supernatural".
the actor that plays God really nails it. makes his wrath so creepy and scary, swaying to jazz music at 2:21 while igniting a nuke to kill Jesse 👏
