Anyone else notice he's finally tapping into his Vampire Abilities? Like, when he mimics Frank's voice? Ecarius really did teach him some things.

@@doctor4961 haha. It's a major part of some of the best vampire based stories ever written - Vampire the masquerade. A 90's table top rpg game, which spawned a bunch of novels and a computer game. Vampires are all descended from the first generation - Cain. Each generation is a bit weaker than the preceeding one. Younger vampires can steal the power and generation of an older vampire by draining them completely. Moving themselves up a notch or two closer to the first. It's the biggest and most feared crime in their different societies. God I miss that game, it was the best vampire stuff I've ever come across. The underworld movies was kinda like a clownshoes edition of it, made for simpletons.

@@doctor4961 vampires could drain other vampires - but it was dangerous. If they drank it three times without killing said vampire they would become bonded to them, like fall hopelessly in love and be devoted to the vampire they had been feeding on. It was a power tactic used, to make lesser vampires feed on you to built ties of loyalty etc. Uh, as for cannibalising their own blood, like a vamp biting her own wrist? That would accomplish nothing other than feeling the intense weird pleasure of a vampire bite. Ultimately they would just be cycling the blood through themselves. In the mechanics of that game a vampire would have a fixed number of maximum blood points, each day a point would be expended naturally. Certain abilities used, like rapid healing or buffing your physical strength, would have a cost in blood points. The older the generation (closer to Cain) the character is, the bigger the max blood pool and potential expenditure in a game round. A starting character would be like 12th generation as a baseline, so max 12 blood points? Like a 5th gen would have like 19 max, though I may be misremembering. Haven't played it in twenty odd years. Lol.

As an Irishman that lived for a while in cork I think he nailed the accent it's a hard one of your not from Ireland but he did it about as well as any other non Irish actor could , good on him 👍

Finally Cassidy got his revenge although I would have preffered Cas having a bit more "fun" with the guy that tortured him.
This was a very satisfying death. I love Cassidy looking at Frankie's eyes as he dies. Also, I find it funny that this clip features a guy having his head blown off by a gun that was shoved up his ass, and yet the word "shit" is censored.
Can we just make him the Joker already?
Wish a season 5 was on its way. Best show ever!

Maybe a slightly more adult version of the doctor, but I could see it. Gilgun has the manic energy and humour to hold the show.
Nah, I would totally go for that, especially if they ditch the American-ness that's been seeping in and keep it British (British actors playing British characters with American problems spilling out of their mouths doesn't work), then he would be an amazing actor to portray that.

He didn't bite off anything. He sodomized the guy with his own gun and pulled the trigger while it was inside him, which he specifically promised he would do to him in an earlier episode.

The funny thing is, that's not even close to how Toscani died in the comics. It's an original scene that I think would make Garth Ennis proud.

In the comics Cassidy doesn't really know how to fight anywhere this well. He's just strong and fast, but doesn't know any moves. Here, they made him look like he's had years of training as a fighter. Not accurate to the comic, but it's still fun to watch.
Well if you think about it cassidy is hundred years old and having to fight vampire hunters and other ppl wanting to kill him would have taught him how to fight so if anything I think its a good detail towards his characters life
hell he's barely even a vampire. He doesn't really have any special powers beyond immortality and regeneration, he doesn't even have fangs. He's just a great character.

No one else could do Cassidy like joe. My favorite Cassidy moments are when he lets himself enjoy being a vampire

It always felt weird in a good way when Cassidy cut loose in a fight. Most of the time he's relatively passive but scenes like this remind us he can tear people apart with no issue.
