@@SherpasDay how old is Sherpa, over ten? Have you heard about tumeric being an anti inflammatory for older dogs having arthritis and trouble walking (I noticed him limping)?
@@karenmorrisette5027 he’s been on every anti inflammatory known to man but he’s careful since his liver was overworked recently and has cut back. Sherpa’s limp is more noticeable when tired or being called to heel.
That you did that step ladder was so brilliant.... I see so many owners not recognize when their dog is in pain and I just have to applaud everything you do to make sure your Sherpa is healthy and happy

My dog name is CoCo I call her coco bean coco beana Scooby Doo coco puff she's a 12 pound jack Russel 3 yrs old doesn't do good with other dogs only one small Chihuahua he's not fixed either is she she will be though but if she did get along with other dogs she's small enough to ride sherpies back lol

Well done on your current apex in van kit, Jamie. Loved the wildlife perspective, but could hardly hear it. You take such outstanding care of Sherpa. Thank you so much for sharing him with the rest of the world. It cools me off (96F here in Louisiana) just to watch y'all swim in that fabulous lake and nap in the shade. When out walking Clare yesterday, we passed a malamute in the village. Beautiful dog. Of course, not a patch on darling Sherpa. What a good week you had, despite the incredible heat. I didn't want to move away from the fan! I am glad you found another buyer for the old van. 😀😀
It's been so hot hasn't it. How is Claire with other pups? Fingers crossed it cools down again soon 🤞
@@SherpasDay Clare hasn't had a lot of experience with other dog breeds. But those she has met, she becomes a puppy and wants to play! 😀
When he stands/sits and stares out at the moor, he looks free and at peace and just enjoying the chill moment to survey his kingdom of tranquility......he does make the moor that extra bit better and enjoyable to admire.
Having a coat like his, and the heat of the day, the water is where I would want to be to.

Summer has been hard on rocky too. And he's only 2. We go out about a half hour and he's ready to come in. I'm going to get him a pool and see if he likes it. My last husky wanted nothing to do with it.
Your hot day routine is like are everyday in Florida until late fall
29C! That's about 84F. 91F today in North Carolina, and it is usually a little higher, like 95F this time of year, which is about 35C.
Glad the van is going ok for you guys. Sherp is looking good…oh, and you are too Jamie! With those USB ports, you can get some great fans to use in them

Some people rake the lawn on a summer's day, Husky people rake the dog. This was treat for soul and mind, especially after a few videos of the happenings around the world. Over 20 minutes with Sherpa and his family is a soothing balm to ease the sting of the messes all around.
I think I know why the lady thought he looked sad. He has deeply expressive eyes, they're "soulful", more so than most dogs even of his breed.

So nice to watch Sherpa going for a walk in the countryside which is what my rescue husky cross did with us until he passed away last June.. He to used to talk and demand.. things.. Miss him so much.....

The pendant on your dash is the tree of life, the stones that were used are to balance the chakras, it meant to be worn.

Sherpa looked like a crocodile swimming behind the trees. I liked the way he stared at you behind the trees. I also enjoyed the sunset walkies.

It was definitely too hot last week! Our Springer only had a walk in the morning then a couple of short outings in the garden but even in the shade of the trees it was too hot for me. Think our fluffy Springer coped better than me! Especially at night.
