So I can't remember how I got this idea but it just kinda came into my head and I'm unsure if it has been done before but if it has then here is my version.
I tried my best to get them to look like it but one or two of them don’t have great lighting and also Freddy’s one didn’t turn out very well I think. I also wasn’t sure if golden Freddy or shadow Freddy would be better for nightmares jump scare so that’s why I did 2 for that one.
Also I wasn’t really sure how to put this video together so it doesn’t look that great and maybe I should’ve had sound for the behind the scenes parts but I guess it’s alright. Enjoy the video!
Also by original animatronics I mean their original appearances in the games

I honestly like this idea a lot more than the nightmare animatronics, a kid having nightmares about the actual animatronics instead of what's essentially them if they were jammed into a wood chipper. The only problem with that would be that it would feed into a certain theory that at the time almost single handedly destroyed the fanbase.
If you talk about Mikevictim, yeah, it would destroy the whole lore : the bite becoming useless despte being the most hyped up event of the saga, Foxy Bro having no purpose, etc etc
Mikebro with him having the nightmares is sure less obvious than BV being the one having the nightmares BUT it isn't THAT bad, compared to damages caused by Mikevictim.

I love how at 0:29 after Golden Freddy's close up, he just stood there like: "Man...this is really gonna be one scary jumpscare, huh?🗿"
These are amazing, but did you ever realize that the nightmare animatronics seem to be more closely connected to the fnaf 2 withered animatronics. Like Withered Chica having the split wide mouth, Foxy’s ear being sort of segmented, like the Withered Foxy. Bonnie doesn’t have a huge resemblance, but looking at an unwithered version or him, he does in fact have 2 rows of teeth. Then there’s Freddy. He also has 2 rows of teeth, which would lead to suggest that he is also based around the fnaf 2 model. The biggest reason as to why this would make sense is that the models of the fnaf 1 animatronics weren’t seen until 1993, and the withered models existed up until 1987. They could’ve been around at the same time of Fredbear’s Family Diner at a different location, and fnaf 4 takes place in 1983. It just kinda lines up.
Crying child mightve gone to that location before with his father if the animatronics were in service at the time, thus remembering what they looked like.

I appreciate how faithful your recreations are. Also, I love how after so many years of over exposure and recycling, the original animatronics still have a certain unique creepy aura that still holds up.

Look, the nightmare animatronics are some of my favourite characters in FNAF from a design standpoint and I know Scott designed them like that because it was intended to be the scariest game in the series but I honestly think that these jumpscares are very fitting too, i mean FNAF 4 would be more believable from a real world standpoint if the kid had nightmares of the actual animatronics UNLESS of course he really was THAT scared of the animatronics to have his mind twist them into hellish monsters in his nightmares

Apparently you don't realize is that the kid was really you plus having both a damaged brain and a bad experience with the animatronics is what caused the nightmarish looks of them in this game

I absolutely love the idea of Nightmare being a nightmare version of Shadow Freddy. It just seems very fitting.
Actually in UCN coding nightmare is called NightmareShadowFreddy
it seems to me that the nightmare is more in line with the golden Freddy, which is well shown by this video with gf and fredber screamers

Honestly...That one for Foxy kinda works...The others were cool and well-made sure, but would feel kinda out of place...But Foxy feels like he could fit in with FNAF 4.

Okay, I gotta say it: I don't think the FNAF 4 animatronics are that scary.
The whole linchpin of the horror in FNAF is the automatonophobia, which is caused by the uncanny feeling conveyed by the animatronic's design; they're trying to look like not only something living, but something friendly and welcoming. But you can tell something is wrong. Something unnatural and unsettling lurking beneath the surface. There's a sort of deception there, and it freaks your brain out. These things are pretending to be something they're not, but you can't quite put your finger on it, and that's frightening. It's why we're creeped out by the Chuck E. Cheese animatronics, and why we're creeped out by the original FNAF characters they inspired.
The FNAF 4 animatronics are just *too honest.* Sure, they look scary, but they're scary in the way a charging bull is. The sharp teeth, the withered exterior, the claws, there is none of that "deception" happening. It's like their designs are telling you "Yeah, we're dangerous. You had better run." There's no uncanny draw. They're all open books. That unsettling presence is gone with them. They aren't "pretending" to be anything. It's just boom. Big scary monster robot animals. Run.
With a lot of Scott's other designs I think he did a decent enough job at managing that uncanny horror, but those ones just miss the mark for me personally.

We see the animatronics in FNaF 4 like this because we are seeing them through the child's POV, he saw them as monsters and is having nightmares with them, that's why they have these designs and why they have the name nightmare. It makes sense that they have this design in the lore, but I agree that they are not as scary as the ones in FNaF 2 or 1 for example.

@@tilerandom Considering you play as Michael Afton in SL and in that same game you can access the FNaF 4 house cameras, it's very likely the C.C in the bedroom. In FNaF 4 there are also some easter eggs that show a bag of serum and flowers in your room, indicating that the person had a serious accident. Fredbear saying he'll fix you through the minigame too.
But of course, the part about being the CC is just my theory that I use as a headcanon, because I don't remember having anything that confirms who it is in the game, despite having several indications that it is him.

The only thing that it doesn't make them scary, is the fact that this is accurate only at the 65%, it's missing that wxtra darkness and the 2D style, for don't talk about the fact that the Nightmare ones looks ANGRY, while those have emotionless faces.

The fredbear jumpscare is probably the best jumpscare with the least effort put it. There's something so creepy about the stillness and the stare into your eyes. Plus that jarbled static mess is just perfect.

I always thought that chica wasn’t scary but after playing fnaf help wanted when I played parts and Service when chicas mouth opened right at me and also in the jumpscare too it scared me a lot
Well im honestly not surprised, people say that it would be cool to have fnaf 4 actually like this or more organic designs (I actually support the last one), but if we actually had that probably the fandom would say that the first design choice is lazy and (let's say) a fan did the designs we know and have, those would probably be preffered in thst case.
