I'm classing my bet as a win as you couldn't film an episode due to illness. The guard is off by the second episode 😂 Great work on the repair too, I hope the other side goes easy so your not too rushed
Yeah it’s a little metal jigsaw aha. Yes most things are available for them which is good. It’s just a case of getting everyone else’s repairs out and making it better. Thanks for watching 👍
Looking more solid every day! Well done Marc, excited to hear about the development on the car port side, “onward and upwards buddy”! - p.s. why not ask if a subscriber in your local postcode has temporary storage for some of the cars?
Thanks Phil it’s definitely getting there. It’s going to be a shame loosing the car port but it is what it is. I can store the other cars but I am short for this one hence just getting it done and gone off for paint. It’s a job off the list 👍
Great video, I need to do my sills soon, its going to be a while before it gets sprayed, would you recommend etch primer and hammerite over it to protect the metal?
Thank you. Yea that would be a great protection for the inner part of the sill. I have etch primed and painted the inner parts as I do with all cars as I feel it helps the for a long lasting future. Then off course once paint is done then get some wax up in there. 👍
Great to see more mini rust repair videos. Getting very close. What’s the finished spec that James had planned or is that a secret to be revealed in the future?
For sure its nice to get some fresh steel in and one side done. The car will look basically the same when done, same wheels but the roof will be put back to the factory white so the union jack will go. It should look a nice clean fresh car once done. We will keep in touch with James and bring you updates :)
Nice to see this one pieced back together. Keep on truckin!
For sure buddy it will be nice when it goes off for paint 👍
Another cracking installment! keep em coming marc :D
Thanks buddy 👍

Thanks buddy hopefully this can be rattled off nice and easy then it can go for paint.
It’s a proper jigsaw isn’t it but you’re doing a great job! It’s amazing the number of repair panels available for Minis.

@@SimpsonsClassics cheers Marc, (is it going to make room for a house extension or because of a neighbour complaining?)
No the neighbours have always been fine. We are moving house so it all needs to go unfortunately.
@@SimpsonsClassics understood Marc, have you found a house yet and will it have a dry space to do car work?
@@philtucker1224 yes, and it has a small place to work but we have the workshop so it’s all good 👍
