    You are inspiring Fr. Chase.
I just have to say you might not have become a younger version of Michael Beckam but you are the younger version of Fr Mike Schmitz - awesome.
Thanking God for priests like you. ❤

May he always continue with his passion for you Lord and for those entrusted to his care.

You should avoid defining your entire life by one thing. Whether thats sports, or religion, or whatever. Because if you ever lose that thing, if you get injured and cant play sports anymore, its gonna feel like your life is over and pointless. Same thing if you lose your religion, people do it everyday, they learn some science, identify some fallacies, ask some question, or maybe read the old testament for themselves👀 and boom its gone. Cant define yourself by what you dont believe in.
Your "solution" here is just trading sports for religion. As if making your entire life about this invisible friend and this corrupt af institution is more secure. It's still putting all your eggs in one basket. It can still end up just like your friend if you lose your faith and suddenly dont have any "apologetics" for why you should get up in the morning.
Ive been hurt, ive been low, ive been hungry, ive been desperate, believe me when i say diversify your options. You will lose things in life. If you're unlucky you can lose a whole lot. So make your life about more than one thing just in case.

You should see if you’re really Catholic. This man is way too buoyant and personal. He speaking from his ego, not from God.
