You got to be on some super-powered bath salts to think that the original pea green screen Game Boy output of this song is better. I've been a game music collector and Trader since 1998, owned Belmont's Revenge with first game boy release, and also imported Akumajou Dracula Best Vol ll (disc 2 is OST of the first 2 game boy games) and I could tell you not as a matter of personal preference which you seem to be pressing on people as general consensus, that this is _far superior_ to the original release regardless if redbook or OST.

We're talking about the instruments and tones that were used in the Wii version, similar to the synthesizers that were used in the Sega Genesis era, or the arcade version of Haunted Castle. In the Wii version there are many more instruments, with more arrangements, but in the long run it sounds weak, it lost that hard rock beat that the song originally had. It's a matter of doing your research because not many were happy with how it sounded in the Wii version. Nothing beats the NES chiptune sound that CV Belmont's Revenge had.
