If this were, in fact, used in ReBirth, I can say with confidence that I would most likely be used in place of "Riddle" for Dracula's hidden third form in the final battle. If not there, then probably the pre-final-battle entrance to Dracula's Keep.
Personally I would've liked it for the first stage music. Reincarnated Soul is great and all but don't you think this would've been a better way to kick off the remake of the game this song is from?

I mean, they essentially did the same thing with Vampire Killer in the Castle Keep before the battle with Dracula, yeah? In this case, it makes sense to save the best for last, in my eyes. Just because one track was used in the first stage of its original iteration, that doesn't mean it should be used in the first stage of its rebirth, especially given the composition. If it sounded a little less epic, then sure, it could be used at the beginning.

The reason it reminds you of TMNT is because the instrumentals in this game was intentionally mimicking the sound engine of Konami's games from back in the '90s. Both TMNT games and Castlevania were produced by Konami.
