I went to fishing the seagar hollow 50 on Torium 16 for smaller stick baits and 65 on Daiwa saltist 40 low gear for irons big baits worked great with short heavy leaders gave me more lime capacity just kicks your butt on long rods but so cool to get them on long rods
man i went out yesterday, i saw hundreds of dorado, dozens of yellowtail at paddies, and 50-180 lbs bluefin but they just wouldn't bite, so frustrating
It's amazing to me that you're on all these big tuna feeds close to shore and there isn't a single other boat around. When it goes off like this in the northeast you always have tons of company.
At the time this happened most people were still west and south more. We were heading to those same zones and ran across it on our way there, so it kind of slid past the fleet and found some bait.
Sorry late reply. Truline d8 - avet mxl 2 speed - 60lb braid to casting distance of 50lb mono (the truline is stiff and i used to pull hooks fishing straight braid)
What braid to mono setup you running? I had too many times throwing into foamers with 40lb izor and getting sawed off midway of my top shot on the initial run
Livingston boats are the magic key to the sacred door.
Bluefin on the jig with a release - y’all are absolute legends!
Tell me you know how to fish foamers without telling me you know how to fish foamers 🤙🏼
Nice vid, thx for the tips I’ll use them soon
Grab the Jig and pull em in...No gaff required for an easy release! Well done!
Awesome video, Bryan. That's an epic trip on the Livingston 14. Thanks for sharing. Tight Lines!
I got a couple up north in half moon bay a couple years ago in a 17' tracker and everyone thought i was nuts. You guys rock!
Thats a bunch of hard work just to throw back a fish worth some money. But seriously nice catch and good sportsmanship.
Sick vid Bryan! On the 14'! The rods are more than half the length of the boat 🤙
Livingston boats are great for ocean. Very stable and safe. I have a 12 ft
Rad video!! That 14’!
Straight 🔥🔥GANGSTA🔥🔥no gaff on the BIG BFT 🤙🏼🤙🏼

What performance numbers are you getting from that 60hp? cruise and top speed? MPG? thanks
I have the same boat in Corpus Christi, Tx.
How do those raptors cast? I was thinking of getting an ax with silk ocean for foamers and yt but don’t know how well they cast.
It’s just the regular MX 2 speed haha it casts pretty well actually I was surprised
Back at it again with a banger 🔥🔥
Your vids are sick !

60lb to 50 mono top shot. This was a dedicated surface iron setup. Stickbait rod had 60 braid to short 60 leader.
So sick!!! What reel and line combo was that?
Looked like a 2spd Avet with mono.. I was wondering the same thing.. ?
@@felixvargas4112 avet mxl 2 speed - 60 braid backing to casting distance of 50lb mono!
Damn I should’ve taken my 16 foot whaler out.
The Guy in the Back couldnt catch 1?
