That was pretty cool seeing the forks taken apart I really never took any apart like that awesome video also I got my hoodie and my two stickers thank you very much 👍🙏.
Loving the the RM Build. Sensors on the sling? They will be checking up on you, make sure you don't sneak into the shed to do some " easy" jobs when you should be resting! 😎 Hope the op goes well. 👍
When you get home from hospital Craig get the missus to give you a good check over. If some ratbag politician needs a kidney they'll be away with your bits.
I wish the old slide hammer trick worked on my forks the other week! I ended up wedging the upper and lower bushes inside each other and the whole thing jammed solid. I couldn't work out how to get them apart after that. 90 quid later and another set of used forks and I just hydrolocked the seals out of the "new" ones in the DIY press, mucky but reliable.
I hope your operation went well. Keep a positive outlook. Just think. Once you fully recover from shoulder surgery you can start on the custom Russian bike you have stashed away lol. That is unless you have passed it on without you telling your very loyal subscribers who have been waiting patiently.
Please could you swap Matts coffee granules for instant Gravy granules and Video it and post it on TH-cam, he probably wouldn't be able to taste the difference. 😂
Those dust seals did a cracking job of keeping the muck in! Not seen that brand of impact gun, before. Is it an Amazon special, do you rate it? I only ask because the main red and yellow brands, very expensive for someone not using them as trade tools. Good luck with the experimental operation, might come out the other side bionic!
Really appreciate the time and work that’s gone into the bike you’ve been a busy man and I just want to say thank you
gone be a nice MX Sam ...
I'm absolutely loving the RM refurb series of videos 👍
Good luck with the surgery Craig ,maybe you could ask them for some video footage.
One of the best genuine channels 👍👍👍👍👍
I can smell this video. When the sludge came out of the fork tubes😂
Its no surprise the old sludge build, maintenanceis generally get put off till something fails completely!

Looks like CV joint grease. Maybe used to firm the forks up a bit more?
Good luck to you with the operation. Just think, maybe the cadaver fellow was a bike person to, so you'll have some help.
Thanks
Yes the lack of 'servicing' has probably saved the hardware from 'tool' damage.
Shoulder/sling sensors:Big Sister is watching you...

Sensors in the sling. That'll stop you 'slide hamming the fork bushes out' 😂😂😂
❤

@@JimBiddle. It is a budget brand but so far it seems to be ok although I don’t use it that often.
Thank you Jim
Good morning Craig
My suspicion is these have never had new oil...!
A pair of proper Gaiters would have prevented this.
I guess they've never operated on a Neolithic man :D
Do nothing after opp please we want u back
if the surgeon is as meticulous in his or her work as you are i think you will fine
If you are going to be a lab rat, have they mentioned anything about putting you down afterwards?
