WL915 Gets Stuck & Rescue Boat Fail! 😬

- Learn from my mistakes and laugh at my pain 😁 After examining the boat, I apparently didn't tighten down the flex shaft enough and the loctite applied was not enough to hold the shaft in place after hitting the rock. I'll build up a proper rescue rig before running this boat again 👍🫡 #rc #scalemodel #rchobbies #rcforall #rcboat #wltoys
On the plus side.. I have a Storm Launcher 2.0 now! I had the original Air Hogs version and had so much fun with that thing. So, even though it's not a useful rescue boat, it's still a fun little amphibious park flyer for under $60!

Hehe, yup.. it was just acting so weird today, but that's what happens when you start modding crap 😁 I was more worried about stepping on a hook or some broken glass wading through that muck. It was up to my knees and water up to my chest.. fun fun!😆 The guy was telling me that gator was the small one, and there's a 15 footer living in that lake
That boat is quite fast 😊, shame about the shaft break,. I was about to say you should wade in and get it.

Yep, there are plenty of other spots. I just liked this one from a previous video and it has a nice shoreline.
I have a HBX Surge X03 RC boat that is like $50 and it has a self right feature. I assumed this was common but I don’t know much about RC boats. I’ll tell you it sure comes in handy! That sucks the rescue boat did not work! It also has telemetry so you know how much charge it has. It only goes 14 mph though.
That's cool! Those little boats are good fun for a pool or a small space. I scrolled through all those little boats on Amazon, looking for a hull I liked. Then started seeing videos in my feed of guys doing 100+ on the water. A V hull like yours would probably have been a better choice for a beginner, but I really like how the F1 tunnel boats look. You could probably throw more voltage at that HBX 👍
I think that flex shaft came loose before it ran aground.

Man these boat videos are super entertaining! I hope you stick with them. Maybe not this one but one that turns and self rights better. That sucks you had to swim past gators to rescue it. Thanks bro, I'm glad you enjoyed it. This one was a lesson to always have a reliable recovery method. Worse to worse, I keep swimming trunks in my car JIC.. because it's Florida 😁 but aside from having stuff sink to the bottom, this is the worst that can happen running a boat. I've had another plane on the back burner for so long now it's crazy to think how long. I made a frame with no electronics and still have the darn thing.. should probably get it in the air now that I'm a little seasoned in the hobby.
