The boat has a “flip back over” function that’s why it want to tip over to the left side when you are standing still. If you flip the boat it will flip back up and then you can drive it again!

Helps with the RC boat if you put a little bit of water noodle core insulation foam it'll keep it up out of the water even if electronics are waterproof

The smaller boat has self righting do that is why it was starting to "sink" when it wasnt moving. When it flips over that chamber thing fills up with water and will flip it right side up. Have fun with the boats kev! Love your vids keep it up!!

Watched a few videos on bigger boats the other day and the holes in the side of the hull are there to self right it if it flips. Bare this in mind if the yellow one doesnt have them as if that flips you will be going swimming... or take the wltoys to push it to shore in case 😂😂

There used to be a kit you could build of a fishing boat with big whip rods out the side. It had quick released on the whips so you attached your line to them then "trawled" back and forth over your fishing spot......then if a fish hit, it released the line for you to reel it in.
That was for guys who liked R/C but didn't have an electric trolling motor on their tinny.

My first thought when I saw "will it sink" was Kevin is driving, yes. lol
the f1 boat sinks because it is a self righting design. the holes in the rear of the hull are designed to let the water out once it rolls over. my Valvryn from proboat does the same, it sinks a bit when not moving forward.

If you put in a swimming pool remember to give a good fresh water rinse when you are finish to cause the chlorine will dry out your seals and lube them up.

I saved up a hundred bucks in the 90s for an RC boat. It was amazing, you could jump off waves and everything! The transmitter/receiver were crap though, and it would always end up doing circles till you could get it back with a branch :/

It has that float fill with water so when it flips over, it fills with water and flips the boat back over

I recently purchased my first boat. ProBoat Zelos. Won't receive it till sometime in the middle of the week. Looking forward to it. Runs on 6s per ESC and there is two ESCs and motors in the Zelos. There will be twelve cells of total power in it when running 6s. I've read the reviews and watched the videos which made me choose this one. A guy I RC with got himself a Traxxas Catamaran a few weeks ago and he seems to like it. I've been talking about getting a boat for a few months now and finally decided to get one.
Lane Waite great choice on buying the Zelos. Quick advice is to pull both flex shafts and grease before running. Have fun.
@@mikebultema2536 Ohh I know. I've already got mod plans. Hobbywing Seaking 180 amp ESCs, Leopard motors, polished and balanced props, water drain valve, duel pickup rudder. Right now those are my only plans for it.
@@mikebultema2536 Ohh, and I've read reviews of the spektrum radios that come with it (though I've had good luck with spektrum) don't have all that good range. So maybe be changing that as well
You should get a boat trailer for your crawler to pull your boat
if you want a nitro a good one to get is the nitro revo
