In latest edition of my Canadian Championship vlog, I give you the behind the scenes of the 2023 Athletics Canada Canadian Championships in Langley, BC where I went to challenge for my 11th and 12th national championship titles, which would be 5x in a row! You'll also get to see the Olympic silver medal ceremony for the Tokyo 2021 4x100m relay, where we were upgraded to the silver medal in front of the Canadian home crowd!

100, 200 and 400 for Women and Men.
Always interested in the 4X100 relay, I ran 2nd leg in high school we won everything up to and including OFSAA West Regionals, but came 5th OFSAA (a team we beat all year came 2nd so I know we should have made the podium)...
100m and 200m and 4x100 and 4x4
The men 100m gonna be pretty close women 100m as well and the women 200m leave the best for last the mens 200m

Trying to run faster you think i should:
1. run at my own pace holding up my form and eventually get faster
2. Or just aim for speed n develop my form along the way
#1. With #2 you’ll eventually hit a wall because you’ll need good form to increase your speed ceiling. So better to start with good habits and work to apply those better to increase speed
How are you gonna work on the last 50m of your game (not as good as you obv😂)but I'm struggling with my finishing and it's about relaxation for me
It’s really training my speed endurance in training and maintaining form last 50. Not tying up and keeping my momentum to the end of the race with aggressive arms and high knees

Hey Aron, do you think it affects performance if you compete in spikes that you don't train in?
am not aron but according to my coach he said it dont affect the porformance but training in the spikes means its more comfortable
like in my puma evo speed i ran my first sub 12 second of 11.84 and i have it for a while and in my nike zoom i ran 12.27 seconds so its kind better

It can depending on the spike. I typically simulate the same spikes I wear in training with what I wear in races. For example, I’ll wear the superfly elite 2’s for longer runs because I wear them in the 200m
