That back rack really sets it off , can you get a usb extension with a water proof plug , just feed under the tank and bring it out in front of the clock
Cheers Mark 👍 yes I've seen you can get a lead but think RE could have built it with one at the Handlebars ESPECIALLY as the bike comes with the tripper navigation..
Every bike has a flaw or two for the owner to nitpick about , and we learn to love the bike anyway, it’s called character! Lol! That is a beautiful bike Willie!
Agree with your niggles about the 650. I bought an Ultimate Add ons, dual accessories handlebar charger. Bit of a pain to keep feeding cables back and forth. This fitted gives me 2 USB ports and a din socket permanently fixed to the handlebar. As for the rev counter I'm waiting for the add on one like the one for the Classic 350 to come out 🤞
Whoop, nice to to be finally introduced to Raul! He looks a happy little fellow. I also saw the Mr Darcy review of yhe SM650 and think it was little harsh, he is usually reviewing the HD breakout and BMW R18 so it wouod he worth mentioning that the RE is 1/3 to 1/4 of the price of those bikes. I'm not sure why that came out why it did or perhaps there had been so many glowing reviews of the SM that he just wanted to take a differet take on it. Who knows. I do think you picked the best colour in Astral Green, that is the one I'd have...
Yes I was a bit surprised but at least he didn't slate it...I just kinda thought he'd love it ! You need to get yourself a test ride on one mate..if yr ever Kent way give me a shout and u can try mine 👍
For anyone that is interested. I found a forum that said that the 650 interceptor has to have valve adjustments every 6,000 miles or 12 months regardless of miles. Their is no reason that valves should need ajusting every 12 months regardless of distance driven. That is ridiculous vibrations and use causes things to come loose and strech not sitting still.
you only have to adjust valves after said mileage has been done time frame doesn't come into it basic engineering they just want your money because they think people would find this job hard its not just take your time and watch the videos.
I've been tugging on it all morning 😂 love it. Great vid as always, my SM has 1400 ks on it now and really freeing up in the engine department, fitting a Fuelx next to help with the low end and Torque so will let you know how that goes. Keep up the good work 👍
I think the 2024 Interceptor has the same switch gear as the SM with the usb underneath, which would suggest that there might already be the screw holes under the current SM switch gear and connections inside the headlight to add this on. I don't yet own an SM so cannot verify what I'm suggesting but I do know the usb on the Classic can be easily unscrewed from the underside of the switch gear and disconnected from within the headlight (mine failed).
Great video, getting mine in a couple of weeks, Interstellar green. The turning circle was something I had seen others mention and I test rode this bike (the touring variant) about a week ago. Doing a U-Turn was one of the first things I tried. It was fine. But she does need some space.
Yeah it's no big deal just alot tighter than the classic 350 so I notice it more ....enjoy the bike when it arrives...looks amazing in the interstellar green 😍 👌
@@2wheeledwillie395 Thanks! Please give my best to Raul (although, I thought he was the "King of Spain"). The removal of the rear seat and fitting on that rear rack looks interesting, I will need to give it a look.👍
"Magitowel" when you know, you know. 😂 Great to see the same time displayed on the tripper as on the main cluster. A lot don't bother syncing em - drives me insane lol.
I saw a video on how to use it. You open the compartment plug the cable in then rout the cable out the back of the compartment to any where you want it.
Could you move the usb charger upto the handlebar? The Ole man from Mr Darcy and the Ole Man didn't like the front end for various reasons which he explained on his video. Overall he did like the bike tho.
Yeah I know he liked it but he's definitely been more enthusiastic about other bikes he's ridden and definitely less enthusiastic than Darcey was about it
I love the green color. I'd love it with some gold instead of silver on the tank I'd like it more without the 650 logo on the side cover. It does look beautiful.
Yeah, little things can drive us crazy 😂. P.s. I have just played Hitchcock motorcycles video about some accessories for the classic 350. They have a little rev counter to add to the instrument cluster, who knows but maybe they'll do one for the Super Meteor 😮
You might have to put your massive towel on Rauls head m8. Must be chilly hanging up there with an open top head do 😆😅. It must be painful kicking one of your gentlemen sausages every time you get your leg over 😄😁😆😅🤣😂
😂😂😂😂😂 Raul is starting to get a bit diva-ish with all the attention!! I'm actually thinking of removing my Gentlemans sausages !! 😱 and maybe getting some TEC PARTS slip ons
RE need a stronger version of it, either increase it to around 900cc or put a supercharger to the 650cc in order to get about 80-90HP to better handle it's weight.
G’day Willie. Unfortunately you will have to try a lot harder before I will unsubscribe. Your fantastic content is doing more for me, in a very good way, than you could possibly know…. After all that tugging, you only get that size??😱. Once again, that’s what she said 😂😂😂. (Me thinks we must be related). Shiny side up mate. Hooroo for now 🏍👍😎
Hi Willie. Your bucket jokes are beyond the pail... Reminds me that I need to get one though,,, I will add it to my bucket list..
😂😂😂 thanks Jon 👍 just don't kick it when u do get one!! 😱

Just quick note on keys and filling up mate, I take gloves off to fill up and place one glove between the tank and keys 👍🏼
Thanks Dan , why oh why dis I never think of that!!?? Just have tried it and works perfectly! Cheers buddy 👍

“Please don’t unsubscribe.” 😂 Oi! I know when I’m being massaged with reverse psychology! 🤐

Pick mine up Friday, Same colour cant wait 👍

the wireing loom is probly the same as the intercepter , if they bring one it will be a plug in the light
Hey Ran...tbh I'm less worried about having a rev counter more wanting a nicer looking clock 👍
That answers the question of why the bucket is there 👍. I like the enhanced version...... 😁😁

You don't have an issue with the rear suspension?
Nope seemed fine to me, better in fact than Indian Scout I once owned
So what’s on your buckets list 😅
Obviously to get my 100,000 subscriber award!! "Aim high and fail" that's gonna be my epitaph!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks well without the rear seat, lad. Nick J
Cheers Nick 👍
You’re such an idiot (I mean that in a good way). You had me cracking up over the towel and “tugging on it all morning” 😂!
😂😂😂 thanks Paul!!
