Man it's such a shame about Episode 3. I was looking forward to your reaction to Kiwi's debut with the prime discussion material about shock play and aftercare.
Fun thing about this show is that you can pretty accurately predict future plot points by just throwing a dart at list of kinks and fetishes and extrapolating from there. Maybe not predict exactly how they're applied but it certainly touches on nearly all the basics, even some that get disproportionate hate
@@NakanaiJP The wax prediction was the funniest to me. Like, when you hear about some new bdsm show most people probably assume it'll be like 50 shades or the "bdsm" romance novels where they just do some spanking, handcuffs, maybe a liiittle bondage (I know that's the assumption I made when I started the manga at least). So it really didn't seem like he was trying to predict anything, just talking about sensation play in a general sense. Then she brings out the low-melting point candles and you realize oh shit we're actually doing bdsm, and not just the ones everyone knows about.
Psyculturist is such a natural villain with that laugh and it doesn't help that he's a therapist with all these "how do you defeat these heroes" discussions lol
Poor Sulphur just wants a good fight, but Baiser only wants a "Fight". It's interesting to see the purity and innocense of Magenta. She's the only one that actually cares about understanding the girls of Enormeeta and what they are really trying to do, while Sulphur outright tried to kill Baiser in their first 1v1, and Azure is a bit... "Distracted" during their fights. She's indeed the character that would be the most interesting to throw Corruption at. And given that Corruption is a fetish that exists, there is no doubt that it'll be used XD. The question would be... Would Baiser see a Magical Girl's Corruption as something that would make her climax 3 times in a row, or something of a turn off? After all, as seen with Sulphur, she REALLY enjoys a Brat fighting back. So would the Magical Girls actually offering themselves to her be a turn on or a turn off for Baiser?
Always a fun time to watch these reactions - no matter how long they are because it gives this unique layer of interpretation. Utena - slowly getting completely into her lust... especially now that she can study more easily with Kiwi's help and not having to fear bad grades that much anymore. Also... well, having a friend in Kiwi on her villain side certainly drives her into more directly wanting to fight than just being on her own.
I'm like... 80% convinced Sulfur is onto them. Not only with that look, but also that weird line of "Huh... so you _do_ smile." No reason to say that about Baiser. She KNOWS Baiser smiles. But looking at her like she's Utena alter ego has her like "Huh, so this is what you're like underneath all the nerves and shit."
13:00 I've been thinking about it for a while now. Best way to defeat them without harming them. Discover who they are. Befriend them. Get close to them. Then have one last final battle and let yourself be killed by them (Or use a wax version of you to make it appear as if you're killed). Sulfurs fist would do the job nicely. Your dead body transforms back. Let their shock take care of the rest.
My parents were cool. They were open about sex abd made sure I was educated about it I chose to have modesty/privacy about it because there were just some things I didn't feel they needed to know about me..And I did NOT want to know what they were doing. 😂 One time after I went to college and moved into my own place, my mom just walked into my bedroom and started opening up drawers. She was hraded for the nightstand next to my bed, so I said, "You know, I don't think you should go looking around in a guy's room, unless you're not going to be shocked by anything you find." She said "Understood" and stopped looking. 😂 I think Utena is a good person underneath it all. Venalita said she didn't love the magical girls, it was just sadism, but I think she's wrong. Utena has shown numerous times that she is very compassionate, and she cares about Tres Magia even if it is just hero worship. She's very careful not to do any permanent damage, even being hesitant to take on Sulfur with her full power until this episode. The problem is, there is a dark side to sexuality, especially since there's a real problem with consent here. Even Utena has not really been given a chance to consent, she has only decided to do this instead of something more deadly. And she is clearly having trouble controlling herself. Again, I think she was afraid of fighting Sulfur because she wasn't sure she could stop if she got too turned on. I think it can be argued by now that Sayo has given consent. Kiwi too, although now she's trying to talk Utena into it. They've got an advantage, though because they can talk things out and negotiate. I think Utena just isn't confident enough in herself to accept a real relationship. I'd also like to speculate that Haruka has also given her consent for this one "battle" only. That was basically the point of this episode. Magenta basically backed Baiser into a corner, said, "This is not going to make me surrender or retreat. You can't defeat me by making me feel violated or embarrassed. So are you going to strike to kill, or will you only fight defensively?" And Baiser did the latter. In fact, Magenta didn't know this, because she passed out, but Baiser wrapped her arms around her in order to protect her as they were falling. She got a faceful of Magenta boobs as her reward, which she definitely enjoyed, but I think that shows that she's not really a villain. It goes back to ehen Venalita was lying to her about her motivations, she said "If wanting to keep my friends safe makes me a villain, then I guess I'm a villain." Utena reacted very strongly to that.
oh love that you used Common to refer to normal, I think most people do not understand what normal means, as in close to the middle of the bell curve, common makes it so much more easy to understand for the average folk and man you going to love this week episode, we should be getting some very good character development but will say no more as to not spoil things
Video was corrupted so sadly only those who saw it live on discord got to see it and hear it 😭 I have the video just no audio which sucks but I'm trying to find a way to conceptualize my thoughts and release a small video on it in the future
30:45 legit question: if you walk in someone doing that, a family, or even friend, is there a correct thing to do? like, should one just silently leave and pretend to see nothing, or instead say it's fine, is there a correct way to approach this situration? what about when you find someone's drawings, mags, etc, what to do?
Here is a question: does context have an effect on embarrassment? Japan has it's onsen culture, where everyone is naked in the bath house. Why is it not embarrassing to be seen completely exposed there, but it is in the park, even if the exact same people see you?
13:00 My most degen version? Ever read "Trans Venus"? Because I think I'd just pull some tricks from that playbook. 1:12:12 You know...with a show so heavily dipped in bdsm themes, a light and fluffy ED like this feels kinda like anime aftercare.
Is Lust bad? You asked well later on you'll get your answer and I must say it's incredible how it's depicted. Did you know that Chastity also can be used for only "pure" sexual behaviours. Eros and Agape reminds me a lot on how Utena feels for her girls (and Kiwi)
Its intressting that the villains actually somewhat mirror the magical girls. Utena has kind of a sub behaviour when normal, but becomes a dom. Kiwi is a brat. And korisu is innocent.
Doctor and house being the first two roleplay scenarios you gave examples of - doesn't look like you're escaping the wizard allegations anytime soon.
It's always funny cause I showcase the list of kinks were working through and those are some highlighted for rp 🤣🤣
That's what I was about to comment

Sulfur is neither a domy nor a brat. She's a Goku who only gets off of good fights.

I know the answer, but I'm not going to answer.
We‘ll see if they can still fit it into Season 1.
Let’s just say, what you’re describing might perhaps be something that happened in the manga. ;)
I know the answer too, I'm up to date with the Manga, it's just food for thought for the Anime Onlys XD.

theres not a single male in the entire series, even all the mascots are women
